Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

Oatly products are great for someone who is lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy. The Cream cheese doesn't have any weird flavor or texture, the Oatly brand icecream is smooth and delicious. Other brands i've had have a distinct coconut flavor, or nearly no flavor at all.
Love how creamy the oat milk is in comparison to other competitors!
I love Oatly's oat milk made to be used as a creamer for lattes. It is creamy and smooth and very sweet. It's the best milk alternative I've found for coffee creamer so far.

This is a really good oat milk. The Barista version is really nice. It's not going to fool anyone into thinking it's milk, but it's a nice thing to drink on its own.
I have been using oatly as a milk substitution for my tea and iced coffee. I love this product and has the right amount of creamy goodness

THE BEST
I just tried Oatly for the first time recently! I can’t have dairy milk, and most oat milks and oat creamer products are AWFUL in my opinion. This one is SO good!!
I don't regularly purchase from this brand but do consume it periodically. I love using it in coffee and smoothies or protein shakes. The texture is rich and creamy and flavorful and doesn't upset my stomach like milk products. I love the Non Dary frozen items they have as well especially the chocolate variety however I would love for this brand to make frozen desserts with mix ins and other treats to make it more fun to eat
So, so good! I put it in cereal, and even use it in my baking recipes. It tastes like the real deal and even foams up for a cappuccino!
I love the taste of Oatly and it froths super well in my coffee. My only complaint is the added ingredients (gums, oils, etc.).

I discovered that I was lactos intolerant so I swithed my coffee "creamer" to Oatly. No moee acid reflux and enjoying the "creamier" flavor in my coffee. I've triend several non-milk options but Oatly is my favorite/

Oatly is great! Froths up well in my Nespresso Aeroccino. The vanilla froths better than the original, for whatever reason.
Oatly has revolutionized the plant-based milk market with its creamy oat milk. It stands out for its rich, versatile flavor that complements coffee, cereal, and baking without overpowering other ingredients. Their sustainability-focused branding, including oat farming transparency and recyclable packaging, appeals to environmentally-conscious consumers. However, some critics point out its relatively high sugar content compared to unsweetened almond or soy milk. Still, its barista blend's ability to froth like dairy milk has made it a staple in coffee shops worldwide. Overall, Oatly is an innovative choice for those looking for a flavorful, eco-friendly dairy alternative.
It’s great as a non dairy alternative but I’m not stoked on the seed oils. Makes really great foam in my lattes though!
I use oatly daily. It is the best, most creamy, perfect flavor to add in my coffee. I also love to blend it into my smoothies to make it rich and delicious. I need an endless supply of oatly. LOL.
Oatly does taste good but when I realized that one of it's biggest ingredients is canola oil, I stopped buying it. If I'm going for a plant based milk, I'd rather pick another product that doesn't contain oil and has fewer ingredients.
This brand really started something. It was the first modern vegan milk I ever tried. It's tasty and lasts much longer than cow milk. I love their outrageous marketing on the box, that was new when everyone else was so boring! I like that rebel spirit energy.
Not a fan, I’ve been using milk alternatives since more than a decade - this contains seed oils, it's heavily processed and has high fat content. Do not purchase.
Rich and creamy, this makes the most amazing hot lattes! I love the subtle oat taste. Won't go back to other brands when it comes to barista milk alternatives.
I have enjoyed all the products from oatly that I’ve tried. However, the ethics and management seem questionably based on news and media
