  • Versatile, beverage performance
  • Additive-heavy ingredient list
  • Seed oil, rapeseed inclusion

  • Sometimes overly sweet taste

Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • I absolutely love the flavor, one of the best oat milks on the market, but there’s way too much oil in their drinks with discourages me from purchasing moving forward.

    Feedback

Cleaner ingredients, less oils, more focus on purely the oats.

  • My absolute favorite brand of oat milk. I have tried all the flavors and I’m obsessed. Even their ice cream is amazing.

    Feedback

I think working on making the ingredients cleaner would be great.

  • I love the taste and it definitely is a great barista milk. My only qualm is all of the added sugar it has. Other than that, I think it's great.

  • Hands-down the best oat milk on the market. I'm almost scared to even consider making my own because I'm worried it won't live up to this stuff!

    Feedback

Make smaller cartons! I don't use that much milk in the time that this spoils and I hate wasting it.

  • Great oatmilk. Is very creamy with a good flavor, but is a little too sweet for me.

  • Tastes good, wish it didn’t have so many emulsifiers.

    Feedback

    Simplify the ingredients a bit.

  • Love the concept of oat milk replacing cow's milk in my home, but this is packed with inflammatory oils that really aren't doing anyone any favors. When you really dive into this label you'll see that it's not the best for you. Not into dairy? Drink water or make your own oat milk with just plain oats and some water in a blender. It's cheaper and you'll know exactly what's in it.

    Feedback

Would love to see them reduce the oils in this product.

  • Im more of an almond milk gal because I feel that oat milk can be thicccc. But, if i have to choose an oat milk, it would be this.

  • Not a huge fan of the Oatly milk unfortunately. Despite the hype, it’s just not the taste for me. I wish I liked it but if they were to ever branch into Almond milk, that is more my style!

    Feedback

Just the flavour wasn’t for me - wish it was a little lighter tasting.

  • Love the flavor, consistency, and ability to froth! Oatly is delicious.

    Feedback

I wish there was less oil in the product!

  • This is my go-to Oat Milk brand. I use it for everything - coffee, cereal, baking, etc. I actually prefer that it feels a little richer or thicker than other alternatives. I hate when a milk alternative tastes or feels watery, and you don't get that with Oatly.

  • Love the packaging and is an amazing alternative to regular milk in lattes and coffee.

    Feedback

The ingredients are not good. Some of the ingredients do more harm. I wouldn't buy it because the ingredients are bad for the health.

  • Love the creaminess of this oat milk. I use this instead of milk in my latte. It steams/foams perfectly.

  • The texture is my favorite and all of their products are consistently good.

    Feedback

I wish they had a version with less sugar.

  • I remember the controversial communication of this brand when I was in Amsterdam. But beyond that, you buy milk and you want good milk, don't you? I found it overpriced in quality compared to alternatives, and the amount of sugar is embarrassing.

    Feedback

Maybe I would give the barista one a chance, but the standard one is just a no for me, being aware of better alternatives.

  • It taste really good, it’s very thick and rich

    Feedback

It’s a little too sweet and I prefer almond milk

  • My go-to plant-based milk! I use it practically every day when I am cooking or baking. Great consistency and flavor!

  • I love the taste and texture of the Barista drink in my coffee. I've also tried Oatly's cooking cream and yoghurt but wasn't a big fan unfortunately as I expected a little creamier texture.
