Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. • Oatly has become one of the most popular oat milk brands — and for good reason. With its creamy texture, neutral-but-pleasant taste, and strong commitment to sustainability, Oatly has managed to appeal to everyone from coffee drinkers to home bakers looking for a reliable dairy-free option. Oatly is priced a bit higher than some other plant-based milks, but it’s generally seen as worth it for the quality and taste.

  • I love Oatly so much. The original variety has such a creamy, rich, oat flavor. It is absolutely delicious and refreshing at the same time. I use it regularly for cereal and almost daily for protein shakes.

  • I have enjoyed Oatly as a dairy alternative in smoothies and baked goods. I find the taste to be pleasant and that it provides a similar consistency to the finished product as does dairy milk. I will continue to use this product.

  • I enjoyed the Barista Oat Milk. I've been looking for different milk options, including plant-based milks. My go-to was always almond milk but I wanted to branch out. I'm so glad I did. This product tastes great and is a nice addition to my cereal or my coffee in the morning.

  • Creamy and delicious. Great for all purposes

  • The OG oat milk. Been a fan from day one, it goes incredibly well with iced coffee. And I always go for the full fat for the full flavor experience, it's so creamy and indulgent it's worth the extra calories to me.

  • Great oat milk, I feel like Oatly really made oat milk such a huge staple in American households - they feel so classic to me. they have such cute packaging and yummy milk. its a shame they have so many additives in it tho

  • I love using this oat milk for my daily lattes at home. It taste just like regular milk and has the nice clean and thick taste that regular milk has but in a dairy free version, I love the ingredients on the cartons and they make for super creamy delicious lattes.

  • It’s great! I primarily only use oat milk for my coffee in the morning and am kind of a stickler because I want to save money by not going out and buying coffee. I’m glad that this keeps me making coffee at home.

  • I really wanted to love Oatly — I’ve heard so many good things, and the branding is super fun. Unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to the hype for me. The texture is okay, but there’s a weird aftertaste I couldn’t get past, especially when adding it to coffee. It also tends to separate a bit unless you use the barista version, which is more expensive. Speaking of price, it’s on the higher end for plant milks, and I’m not convinced it’s worth it. I appreciate the sustainability angle, but taste and performance matter too — and for me, this one just missed the mark. I might give it another shot down the road, but for now, it’s a pass.

  • I used to love Oatly until I realized how bad the oil made me inflamed. I love that they came out with an original one without the oils and use it on occasion. They do make the creamiest oat milk and love it my lattes on occasion.

  • Oatly is a very good plant based dairy alternative milk. I drink it in place of milk and also add it to my cereal and coffee. Next I will try baking with it instead of milk.

  • I think this milk is very delicious. This milk does taste different than cow milk, but it is very tasty in a good way. I liked that it was very rich and creamy and after drinking it left me wanting more and more of this milk.

  • It’s so exciting to see that oatly offers a variety of flavor and consistency for each purpose. I am an espresso/latte drinker, and oatly barista is hands down the best oatmilk. It froths well, as good as real milk!

  • Some of Oatlys products contain oil (rapeseed oil) which I try to avoid unnecessarily. There are other plant-based milks out there that avoid using these oils, so I prefer to grab those options instead. While I enjoy the taste of Oatly's Barista blend, I think there are healthier options for you.

  • I love the chocolate and strawberry ice cream so much! I also love the barista oat milk with my coffee.

  • Definitely great value for the money. Love the taste. Use this on a daily basis. Goes great with everything. You can add Chia seeds to make it a little thicker and healthier and more fiber intake. So many ways to use this on a day-to-day.

  • I usually get the original to keep the fats and sugars low, but creamy is a nice occasional treat. I really like that it has a reasonable amount of calcium, since vegans sometimes have difficulty getting calcium in the rest of the diet.

  • A solid oat milk. I'm not great at discerning all the differences on brands because they tend to all do well enough for me. Creamy, versatile, fitting for many different uses. That's what I want and I get it here.
