Nick's earns largely positive reviews for creamy, flavorful “light” ice cream and satisfying 15 g protein bars, indicating the brand is good at delivering lower-calorie treats that don’t taste diet. Reviews praise rich textures, strong flavors, and standout varieties like Triple Choclad, Birthday Cake, Coffee Karamell, and Cherry Choka Flaka, while calling out issues such as occasional watery or icy pints, odd sweetener aftertaste, excessive sweetness for some, sugar-alcohol stomach discomfort, and inconsistent flavor enjoyment.

Nick’s protein bars are decent in taste and good in texture, even the ingredients are very decent and I enjoy its 15 g protein per bar. I do seem to have trouble getting satisfied in my cravings for sweet/salty though.

I got the cookie dough flavor and really liked it! I ultimately stopped getting it just cause I like the really thing better
I was looking for a low-sugar ice cream and found Nick's. My local store only had butter pecan, which isn't normally my favorite, but I really wanted to try this brand. It was so good for a low-sugar alternative. I've really been enjoying this product. I am looking forward to trying all of the other flavors, as soon as I can find them, especially the pumpkin spice and birthday cake flavors.
Tried their caramel chocolate protein bar. I love it! They have 15g of protein and just the flavor caught my eye. The packaging is bright and nice with silver foil pattern that elevates the product. It is not too sweet unlike other protein bars and the texture was soft and chewy which I loved. It's like eating through a chewy cookie but having a healthier ingredients inside them. I think I want to go buy more of these for a swap of eating chocolate.
Nick's is a godsend! I don't respond well with too much sugar of any kind. And anything too fatty weighs me down. Nick's lets me have a treat without feeling like I. need to take a nap an hour later. My one ask is that I wish there were more certified gluten-free flavors and that there were more local distributors!
To be honest, I overdid it on Nick's and got a little sick of it. There are lots of flavors to try and I enjoy that, but there was definitely some variation in how much I liked them. I'm not sure I'm really ready to get into the healthy ice cream thing, because I find myself just wanting the real deal.

One of my all-time favorite brands ever. I absolutely adored the key lime pie flavor and strawberry shortcake flavors they used to have - please bring those back! They were genius! Nick's has their formula DOWN and you don't feel like you're eating a diet ice cream at all.

All the flavors I have tried from Nick's are delicious, and considering they are lower in fat, sugar, and calories makes this more impressive. The only downside is their products are quite expensive. Also, they have recently changed their recipes and nutrition, which I was very disappointed to see.
Look, this isn't going to be the best "frozen dessert" experience of your life (it doesn't leagally qualify as ice cream) but it's relatively tasty if you remember that it's a healthy alternative. Plus it's got quite a bit of protein in it making it an even better option on the market for an ice cream alternative!
I was recommended this ice cream by a few folks. I bought 3 pints, vanilla, sea salt and another I can’t remember. I really look to vanilla to make my taste decision and Nick’s had that bad aftertaste that I find with the low cal low fat ice cream. Maybe if I had made a smoothie or something like that I may not have tasted that icky aftertaste. I think I love regular full fat ice cream too much.

I’m not a manufacturer of ice cream, but I’ve yet to find a low cal low calorie ice cream that I can eat happily. Also Nick’s is quite expensive where I live.
Actual creamy ice cream. Strong flavors. Not a solid brick of ice you have to wait 20-30 mins to thaw. Full pints, not air. What's not to love!? It's my favorite brand of low-carb/keto ice cream so far. I just wish my local grocery carried more than a couple of flavors. Coffee Karamell is delicious though!
Nick's manages to make "light" ice cream creamy, flavorful, and chunky! Compared to the watery, flavorless alternatives (ahem, Halo Top), Nick's stands out. I'm a bit mystified by how they achieve such a creamy texture in so few calories, but whatever they're doing, it's working. I've tried about seven flavors - basically, all the ones I've been able to get my hands on in store -- and they're consistently delicious. Favorites include Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Cream, Swedish Cookie Dough, and Triple Chocolate Chunk. It's been gratifying to see local grocery stores carrying this with increased consistency.

I'd love to see more flavors available in stores near me - e.g. the new ones (dying to try Swedish Munchies and Campfire S'mores!).

Great low calorie and very creamy ice-cream. I have also tried the ice-cream bars. It's nice to have a lower calorie treat from time to time that actually tastes good.
Personally, I find Nick’s products too sweet, at least the products I’ve tried. I am a person who prefers salty over sweet so that may affect my sweetness levels.

Love! I've tried their ice cream and bars and the taste is really good, not as artificial as sugar-free product often have.
Favorite ice cream! Is low calorie but doesn’t taste like it!
I first learned of Nick's through a good friend who helped launch the brand in the US. Product-wise, I prefer Nick's over other "light" icecreams. The calorie and carb count seemed honestly too good to be true at first, but then I dug into their product story and learned all about the use of allulose as the sweetener. After trying the icecream, I was hooked. The Triple Choclad is ESPECIALLY tasty and by far my favorite. Receiving icecream in the mail is tricky. As an early user, I definitely got a box or two that wasn't packaged perfectly or the product had par-melted. Their customer service was very on point, however, and was able to re-ship immediately. Price point is a bit high, but it helps to manage my icecream consumption ;)

More Triple Choclad-like varieties please :)
Tasted like ice water. Lack flavor and texture.
This is a great low-calorie ice cream option. I like the texture and the flavors, Birthday Cake is my favorite one. It is more expensive than other ice cream brands, but worth the price.
Absolute favorite ice cream - regardless of low calorie / health benefit aspects of Nicks, the flavor is outstanding. I grew up partly in Sweden and so badly missed their high-quality desserts. Then Nicks came along and brought some Swedish dessert know-how to the US. I have yet to try a flavor that I am not obsessed with and their roll out and expansion was incredibly fast which speaks to their immediate attraction.
