Look, this isn't going to be the best "frozen dessert" experience of your life (it doesn't leagally qualify as ice cream) but it's relatively tasty if you remember that it's a healthy alternative. Plus it's got quite a bit of protein in it making it an even better option on the market for an ice cream alternative!

I was looking for a low-sugar ice cream and found Nick's. My local store only had butter pecan, which isn't normally my favorite, but I really wanted to try this brand. It was so good for a low-sugar alternative. I've really been enjoying this product. I am looking forward to trying all of the other flavors, as soon as I can find them, especially the pumpkin spice and birthday cake flavors.

Nick's is a godsend! I don't respond well with too much sugar of any kind. And anything too fatty weighs me down. Nick's lets me have a treat without feeling like I. need to take a nap an hour later. My one ask is that I wish there were more certified gluten-free flavors and that there were more local distributors!

Great low calorie and very creamy ice-cream. I have also tried the ice-cream bars. It's nice to have a lower calorie treat from time to time that actually tastes good.

Personally, I find Nick’s products too sweet, at least the products I’ve tried. I am a person who prefers salty over sweet so that may affect my sweetness levels.

texture was 10/10 for a low cal/low fat icecream, however there was a weird aftertaste probably due to it being sugar free. the sugar alcohols did 100% mess up my stomach (bloating, gas) and it is pretty pricey as well. may not be repurchasing but pretty enjoyable to eat if i disregard how i feel after

Actual creamy ice cream. Strong flavors. Not a solid brick of ice you have to wait 20-30 mins to thaw. Full pints, not air. What's not to love!? It's my favorite brand of low-carb/keto ice cream so far. I just wish my local grocery carried more than a couple of flavors. Coffee Karamell is delicious though!

I was recommended this ice cream by a few folks. I bought 3 pints, vanilla, sea salt and another I can’t remember. I really look to vanilla to make my taste decision and Nick’s had that bad aftertaste that I find with the low cal low fat ice cream. Maybe if I had made a smoothie or something like that I may not have tasted that icky aftertaste. I think I love regular full fat ice cream too much.

Feedback

I’m not a manufacturer of ice cream, but I’ve yet to find a low cal low calorie ice cream that I can eat happily. Also Nick’s is quite expensive where I live.

Nick's manages to make "light" ice cream creamy, flavorful, and chunky! Compared to the watery, flavorless alternatives (ahem, Halo Top), Nick's stands out. I'm a bit mystified by how they achieve such a creamy texture in so few calories, but whatever they're doing, it's working. I've tried about seven flavors - basically, all the ones I've been able to get my hands on in store -- and they're consistently delicious. Favorites include Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip, Cookies and Cream, Swedish Cookie Dough, and Triple Chocolate Chunk. It's been gratifying to see local grocery stores carrying this with increased consistency.

I'd love to see more flavors available in stores near me - e.g. the new ones (dying to try Swedish Munchies and Campfire S'mores!).

Love! I've tried their ice cream and bars and the taste is really good, not as artificial as sugar-free product often have.
