Reviews mention

  • Refined, natural-leaning fragrances
  • Gentle, sensitive-skin formulas
  • Smooth, comfortable application
  • Attractive, sustainable packaging
  • Inconsistent odor protection longevity
  • White residue and shirt staining
  • Occasional gritty, sticky texture
  • Body wash sometimes feels drying

Native earns praise for clean ingredients, standout scents (Coconut & Vanilla, Cucumber & Mint, Lilac & White Tea, Citrus & Herbal Musk) and comfortable, non-irritating wear for many, but reviews say performance is inconsistent: the deodorant often fades by midday, struggles in heat/workouts, can leave white residue or shirt stains, and some experience rashes or gritty texture. Reviews of body wash and hair care skew positive for gentle lather and pleasant aromas, though a few find body wash drying and shampoos underwhelming. Overall, Native is a good natural option if you don’t sweat heavily and will reapply; heavy sweaters may need stronger protection.

  • I only buy there products.. when it comes to deodorant or body wash I own it all and I’m in love!

  • My go-to natural deodorant! Have loved every scent that I’ve tried & I find that it works better than most other brands on the market. Have recently been trying their plastic free option & I really enjoy the packaging.

  • Smells pretty great and works great too!

  • I bought their deodorant in a paper dispenser (instead of plastic) bc I was excited to be able to reduce a single use plastic item. The product actually works great, but it was $12.99! I definitely want to continue to support them, but need to figure out how to make their prices more competitive so that their product is more accessible. I’m sure a lot of people would happy use the paper version if the price was equivalent to the plastic version.

  • Switched from Oldspice because I could not find a clean deodorant and love the look and feel. If you have used "natural" deodorants in the past and have been less than satisfied with the results, then give this a shot.

  • I’m very picky with my deodorant since I’m not a big fan of scents but this was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this to others.

  • I adore Native as a brand, and I can 100% say they are the best deodorant brand you can get- especially with clean ingredients. They keep it simple, their scents are amazing, but there are some improvements needed in my opinion. I haven't tried their body washes because the scents are different than the deodorants in the same scent, but I'm sure they're great. My thing is the sunscreen. I was thrilled when I heard Native was launching a sunscreen and even more thrilled when it only had one ingredient which is great for your skin and sun protection, but in the marketing it says there's no whitecast and there definitely is. I got the unscented version and it does have a scent, and it's VERY sticky; and I'm sure if you wore makeup on top it would be fine almost like a primer, but as is, its very greasy looking and super tacky on the skin. Overall Native is a really great brand, I just hope they maybe fix some minor things with their new product :)

  • Great natural deodorant. I love the variety of scents.

  • The coconut and vanilla smells amazing, but found it didn't always stand through a sweaty workout sesh. Great for throughout the day, but needed to apply more regularly throughout.

  • The only deodorant I wear. I have sensitive skin so it was hard to find a nice smelling deodorant that would not make me break out in a rash. My favourite is the lilac and white tea or the blackberry and green tea. But I also like the coconut. Really there hasn't been any scents I don't like. It is a little pricier but the smell is so good and not fake smelling.

  • I’ve been using Native for about 3 or 4 years now. To be honest, it’s the longest I’ve ever stuck with a deodorant. There is no skin irritation and it’s at a good price point when it comes to how long it lasts. The only downside is if you put on too much consistently, sometimes your shirt will get a little discolored near the armpit area. I just take it to the dry cleaners for nicer shirts and it comes out fine. It’s worth it to use the deodorant in my opinion.

  • Snagged the cucumber mint shampoo and condition. I usually condition 2 times a week and shampoo 1 time per week. This helps retain a fuller body and thicker hair for me. I found both to be gentle and nourishing to my hair. Now I’ve got the almond conditioner. Great looking package, informative, and not too bad on the wallet!

  • Obsessed with this for someone who tries to only use clean products!!

  • Seems a little overrated based on my experience. Just okay, I’ve used better.

  • Worked ok had a lot of break through smelliness with this brand

  • So far the native body wash works for me. It smells good I don’t break out on my back but it’s a bit pricey.

  • While I do love their mission and idea for this product I must just be a stinky armpit gal, gym rat that is, and felt that this made it worse which I just can’t go that way. I tried this couple years back and have been thinking of trying again to see if they have changed ingredients in anyway that would support my stink in a positive way this time. Once I do I’ll write another review.

  • I absolutely love the smell and feel of Native deodorant. Not only does it glide on easily, but it lasts all day!
