Native earns praise for clean ingredients, standout scents (Coconut & Vanilla, Cucumber & Mint, Lilac & White Tea, Citrus & Herbal Musk) and comfortable, non-irritating wear for many, but reviews say performance is inconsistent: the deodorant often fades by midday, struggles in heat/workouts, can leave white residue or shirt stains, and some experience rashes or gritty texture. Reviews of body wash and hair care skew positive for gentle lather and pleasant aromas, though a few find body wash drying and shampoos underwhelming. Overall, Native is a good natural option if you don’t sweat heavily and will reapply; heavy sweaters may need stronger protection.

I have enjoyed the Native products, especially love the fact that it is conveniently sold at Target. With my highly sensitive skin, particularly in my armpits, finding a deodorant that works but also doesn't cause breakouts has always been a challenge. Since using Native deodorant, I haven't experienced a single breakout, even with the fragranced options. I do usually pass on the shower gel. Nothing wrong with it-- it felt good on my skin and made me feel clean, but I have been using Aesop body scrub for years now and it doesn't compete.

Great variety of scents, not a strong antiperspirant.

This hurt my armpits so much. I developed a really painful rash which has never happened before with deodorant.

The only brand of deodorant and toothpaste that I will buy. I’ve been using it exclusively for 3 years

It's the only natural deodorant that works for me. I like that they offer the stick in a cardboard container but, it's pricey! It can't be that expensive to make with the ingredients listed. Only dinging a star due to the price. We all want less plastic. Can you make them all cardboard and less money?

Native is the only deodorant I have used once I found it! Traditional deodorants make me feel gross, and when I sweat, I feel like it mixes in with the smell, which makes it worse! I used the coconut and vanilla one, and I love how light the smell is. Not only that, but its actually powerful enough to prevent B.O. It is such a game changer for me, and its my absolute, absolute favorite product.

I wanted to love the deodorant so badly.....it simply did not last on me! It also stained all of my clothing! I would not recommend.

I’m a guy that works as a banker so always smelling good is very important. I also do a lot of outdoor sports and go to the gym . The native products don’t irritate my skin and the deodorant works all day for me sometimes in the gym I can even smell the deodorants still and it’s not something super strongly scented. Just wish they had better scents for actual skin care and moisturizers.

I’ve started using their body wash and deodorant, body wash lasts me a long time and smells absolutely amazing as well as the deodorant. The deodorant does get clumpy on me though but not sure if it is like that with everyone.

Didn't work as great as advertised in the desert heat. I live in one of the hottest places in America and for that a good deodorant is needed. Native couldn't hold up

This review is for Native's deodorant specifically. I bought it on sale as I use antiperspirant but would like to get away from the aluminum that they use. I read that they specifically created the deodorant to compete with antiperspirant, so I thought I would take a chance and check it out. I enjoy the scents I've tried from Native, but I can't say it works much better than any other deodorant. It definitely doesn't compete with antiperspirant that I've used, which was disappointing. I still enjoy the product when I don't need to worry as much, but it doesn't last as well as I'd hoped. It is quite a bit more expensive than other deodorants, so I don't plan to use it regularly.

I use the Native Lavendar/Rose deodorant. The scent is heavenly without overwhelming your perfume. I have tried many natural deodorants but they have all come up short in lasting through the day without a refresh. This is the first one that actually works for 2 days, (I found out by accident). There is no staining or white residue and it glides on smoothly. It is more expensive than most deodorants but it last a long time too. Well worth the price! I don't think I will ever need to change to a new deodorant except maybe to try one of the other scents.

Loved this deodorant until I heard they got bought out

Okay, so to start off I had bought two of these thinking they’d serve me for like half a year. Slowly my right armpit began to develop a bump which was itchy. This only began happening with Native deodorant and when I switched to Dr. Teals, stopped. I had to get a prescription from my doctor to get rid of it. Although the deodorant itself did work, it caused me health issues and it’s just not worth it.

I love that Native offers aluminum free deodorant, and that I can find it at my local Target. All products I have tried from Native have been great! I’ve found that their deodorant isn’t as long-lasting as other “clean” brands I’ve tried— but I think it’s a great start to reducing chemicals that we put on our bodies every day mindlessly.

This brand has great products, especially for the price point. I love their hair products specifically, though i’m not as big a fan of their deodorant. I find it isn’t as long lasting as some, but I love that they use natural ingredients that aren’t harmful to you.

Love most of their products but my hair personally does not respond the best to their shampoo. I love that it is clan product and the smell is great.

I tried this when I was trying to transition to more natural items but it gave me a bad rash under my arms. I stopped using it and then again to make sure it really was the native deordant and sure enough, it was
