  • I would have given a zero if I could based solely on customer service or lack of customer service. I am not sure if MONOS grew too fast or if they don't know how to run a business. I purchased, early in the year, two carry-on suitcases and a Metro backpack. A few weeks later, March 19, 2023, I decided to purchase matching compression packing cubes for each carry-on bag. One set arrived within a week or two and the second was slated to be shipped April 15th. In May it was still showing as unshipped so I emailed the company only to discover that it wouldn't be shipped until mid-May. In late-May, I contacted them again and was given a date of July 3rd as well as a $9.00 discount. So, today I contacted MONOS to ensure that my product was going to be shipped out at the beginning of July, as they had promised because I have to make arrangements for someone to accept the delivery... only to be told that it WOULD NOT be before August 31st. Seriously? Over 5 months? Completely unacceptable. If a company cannot keep stock... then they shouldn't still be taking money from customers on the website under the guise of orders with a delivery date that keeps moving further and further out. Today, I had to argue with "Max" through text message (as that is the only way to talk to someone in real time) in order to get a full refund. If the refund is not applied I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. As far as I am concerned, the current practices of MONOS is bordering on fraudulent.

  • I know this luggage gets great reviews everywhere. However, after using their luggage for my first flight, I will not buy another Monos simply that my luggage looks too beaten up after a short 1.5 hr flight than other luggages I've used, and their customer service took a few days to respond when I had a question and tried to exchange a gift. Plus, they charge USD40 for a return/exchange of a Carry-on Plus! Say you wanted a different color because the one you bought was different than what you saw on screen, you're out USD40. If you opted for a refund, they don't process your refund until they receive the original items. Makes me wonder what happens if the returned luggage gets lost in transit back to them. Their price isn't worth their subpar customer service.

  • I bought an extra Metro Folio Kit for my Metro Backpack. Perfect to just detach and go. It can be clipped to the front or back of the pack for security. Beautiful green. Like all Monos pieces, built with a lot of care and detailed construction to last forever. Clipped to backside for security while commuting on my bike.

  • I ordered four pieces of luggage and four luggage covers. I received the luggage but only two covers and my order is listed as fulfilled. I’ve sent four emails to customer service and received four form responses none of which address my issue. There is no phone number and no way to actually speak to a customer service representative. Very frustrating company with no customer service. I will not order from them again.

  • Build quality is great. Everything feels solid down to the wheels. The interior has purpose with the storing comparts and the double tie down is great with keeping my stuff in place.

  • Initially I felt the duffel cost way more than it should. However, when I received the duffel and compared it to another one I recently purchased I realized that the bag is made with a lot of thought involved and the quality of the material is great. I am now considering buying the duffel in another color and giving away the one I originally purchased especially after traveling with it.

  • I was on the hunt for a really nice fanny pack! I enjoyed the ones by Lululemon, but they were a little small and didn't add a lot to my classier outfits. I bought the vegan leather version in the color Ivory, and I love it! The pockets are great, the leather quality is very nice and soft. Overall, it's a great fanny pack and I enjoy wearing it with any outfit; but especially my 'nicer' outfits. One criticism I had with the bag is that the strap buckles are black. If they were a matching neutral color, I believe that would make the bag much more aesthetically pleasing.

  • I decided to buy the Metro backpack for 2 reasons; I was frustrated with a lap top backpack I bought on Amazon over 2 years ago, way to many pockets, and I bought 3 pieces of Monos luggage in June, and I love them! Like the luggage, this backpack is sleek, stylish, classy, and extremely functional. I bought the Oxford Blue color. I use daily for work to carry my 13"" lap top, notebooks, files, etc. It has just the right amount of pockets, etc. I highly recommend this backpack, it's the best!!

  • Perfect size and compartments in the suitcase allow for different options and configurations for items. I also have an Away suitcase and I like the interior of these suitcases more. They're also lighter than the Away suitcase, which is nice.

  • Until Monos I was faithful to Tumi. Monos' carry-on is incredibly durable, tastefully designed and has everything one looks for in a piece of luggage. The inside is well thought out, making it roomy enough for a long weekend. The packing cubes are well worth the additional $100. Besides, I saved over $600 buying Monos. The carry-on comes with a laundry bag, two shoe bags and a name tag, nice touch! Looking forward to the day I need to replace my check-in suitcase.

  • the best looking suitcase there is in the market. a work of art. I love the light blue color. the suitcase is very well constructed. I shall be very happy travelling with it . however I am buyging an outer protective cover just so that the baggage handler won't ruin it

  • I have only travelled once and like it so far. I would like to see a flat hand on the other end of the suitcase to make grabbing it in and out of a trunk easier. Love that it was the only bag of its color on the suitcase ramp

  • Customer service is poor. Several emails, sent photos (twice), and no help. Delays in response. I bought the metro backpack and luggage. Tried to return the backpack after the first use since the pouch kept falling off, a security issue. They asked for photos, asked to send the photos again, then said I should make sure the pouch was properly attached, then said they would send a video to show me how to attach the pouch (!!). Tried through warranty… NO help. The blue fades around the shoulder area, the bag flops if not full. Decided to keep the suitcase, although it scratched easily (bought special edition color). I wrote to monos immediately upon my first use of the backpack. They just blame the user. They recently changed the design and eliminated the previous way to attach the pouch. Buy from somebody else. Monos does not stand by their product and advertising. Not worth the price or trouble.

  • Beautiful and well made. The high quality is noticeable. I loved the smooth glide of the wheels, as well as the zippers. Unfortunately, this size was too small for my needs. I exchanged it for the plus. Looking forward to receiving that one

  • The Metro Backpack works perfectly as travel luggage; allowing for a change of clothing plus tech essentials, like a laptop or large tablet. However, it is not ideal for commuting, unless you carry a change of clothing (or even several magazines or even books) that fills the large inner compartment, when your computer or tablet is in the back slide-in pocket. Otherwise, it ""collapses"" and loses its form. I used mine for a two week European trip, along with my MONOS Carry-On Pro, and the backpack provided room for all my tech, space for my large sling, Leica M with 28mm lens attached, additional lens, and a few periodicals. I would highly recommend this as a day bag, or as an addition to your luggage.

  • This water bottle is so interesting. The idea that you can disinfect the water right in your bottle is wild. Perfect size and love the color

  • I absolutely love my metro sling! I have it in ivory and I couldn't resist the brown leather. It is good for everyday wear especially for errands or even on vacation. Definitely recommend it!

  • I am having a bad customer service experience which was unexpected. Monos has an autogenerated reply when you ask for assistance with no personal follow up. i ordered and paid for an in stock item on Aril 28th and still haven’t received it. I received my 2 pieces of luggage, luggage cover and portfolio however but not the metro weekender bag. I have sent 4 different emails and am just asking for a follow up on when it will be shipped. I would leave a higher rating if the customer service quality matched the luggage
