  • I placed my first order on Friday afternoon, and assumed I could just leave my order alone. I got an email update on Sunday evening saying that my order was received and Monday morning saying that it had been shipped. Except that none of the items listed as shipped were in my original order. Additionally, it was $20 more than what was in my cart before. There were no fresh vegetables, and most of the order was prepackaged stuff. When I reached out to customer care, their response was, we've already shipped it so we can't refund you. I'm being charged for items I did not want and did not approve, and they will not do anything about it. Even if I'd had a few good experiences before, this would be a deal breaker. But this was my first ever order.

  • Curious shpppers beware. I did my purchase, prices are double then grocery stores. Also, a card number is required before you can even look and decide if you want them. Once I did t that, i knew this wasn’t for me, no problem. I shut down and went on about my way. This was 2/2. On 2/4 I get notification from my checking account that I just purchased a grocery Oder for 57.04 a week. As a single woman, that’s more that I do at stores plus the items were a joke. So, I didn’t authorize transaction. I notified them immediately and Christopher said he was processing a refund. Well, I’m still waiting on refund. Company will not respond. Refund was processed on 2/4, he said 5 days to be in my account, and it’s 7 days now with no word of it.

    No, except becareful they don’t scam you. It’s exactly what this company does. Research reviews, I’m one of thousands this month they took money from and then said oh a mistake we will refund and never do

  • They have a great selection of different things, from produce to pantry goods. I've found a lot of new brands that I wouldn't have tried otherwise, like Impossible Burger or D'vash date syrup. Delivery has only been late once. On occasion an item has been missing from my order, but getting a refund was quite easy.

    I'm not sure that they are actually rescuing things that would go to waste. At times, it seemed just like a regular online market. It comes with a lot of packaging, which makes me feel bad about the impact I'm having and seemingly counters the mission.

  • Most of the time you have to use the vegetables the day you receive them. Vegetables are often small so, it doesn't turn out to be a good deal.

  • I absolutely love this subscription grocery service. I find new deals every week on snacks and produce. Shipping is fantastic and customer service is as well.

    Some packages come very worse for wear although it’s not damaging to the products.

  • I've been an early user of misfits, i love cooking and their first box was a random sélection of produce. Overtime it became available to sélect product that you will received and they extended their selection of product. I did like the option of receiving a "Surprise" box as it was encouraging me to not fall in a routine. But my main disapointement is the marketing around the brand was to rescue farm produce, overtime i feel the focus on quality and variety of produce became less of a priority.

  • Received a delivery today and the delivery person took a picture of the inside of my house through the window!! I was not home, but caught it in security camera. When I tried to call Misfit, there was no number only email. I will not be ordering from there again considering the quality wasn’t great either!
