If I could leave a review on Minna-goods website with photos, I would. But Minna doesn’t allow reviews at all, much less one with photos. When a customer can't review an item purchased online, it’s the first sign that the company may had something to hide or that reality may be different from that of the influencer’s flashy reviews and photos on Instagram (or on this site). I purchased 2 very expensive dish towels from Minna (among other things). To say that they are defective is putting it mildly. The edges of the towels are highly irregular, and there are loose threads everywhere. I fully understand "hand-made" and I support a lot of these small, supposedly “fair trade” shops that are popping up all over the place, so I'm not talking about slight imperfections in hand-woven items. Per the Minna representative, “we embrace slight variations on ‘perfection’ because of the handmade nature of our collections”. Nonsense. A consumer would never purchase these 2 specific towels “with slight variations on perfection” in a store-front, but as an online consumer I have no choice. I wanted to return the 2 hand towels because I no longer want to support this business but was offered only an exchange (at my cost of course). Now, why do you suppose that Minna won’t accept a return of these items? Maybe because nobody would buy them if seen in their store-front. This is not the first time I’ve been taken by these small “fair trade” companies who claim to be Holier than Thou, and then send the customer crappy goods. I will let the reader decide whether they think these are “slight variations on perfection”, or deserving of return at the very least. I’m not sure these will even survive a single washing without becoming unraveled, let alone repeated use and washing, because these are meant to be used and not just admired.
I absolutely love Minna — their products are beautiful, ethically made, and high-quality. I’ve purchased a pillow and linens and plan to buy more in the future when I have a bigger space to outfit. Their store in Hudson is so fun to peruse in Hudson too!

I wish they had more items!
