    All I have to say here in Marly has been a game changer for my house. My partner and I both travel a ton for work so maintaining any living pants proves to be impossible. We either overwater when we get back or underwater and we’ve had to throw out our fair share. Marly has done its job and kept our plants not only alive but thriving with little thought equity. It fits in great with our asthetic, it’s so great to find a planter that adds to the decor. 10/10

    High quality planter that is easy and pleasant to put together! Self watering system works great for plants that need frequent waterings. The planter is elevated so I’m not worried about moisture accumulation underneath. I also really appreciated the packaging - just the cardboard to keep the planter in place, no single use plastic whatsoever

    Beautifully designed & really easy to put together - had the plants all set in minutes. Cool to have two different heights lined up next together, excited to grab a few more as and when!

After several trips to Lowe’s, Home Depot, and local nurseries, the process of building a successful garden proved to be more time-consuming and stressful than I had ever imagined. My friend (now co-founder) and I kept asking ourselves the same question — There’s gotta be an easier way to do this, right? What followed were days and months of brainstorming our perfect solution. The result? A sketch of a modular, self-watering planter that would just as easily fit in my apartment in New York City, as it would in my family home in Iowa. It's no surprise that we don’t have the time, space, or guidance it takes to grow plants successfully, it’s hard work — which is exactly how Marly came to be. A simple solution to a difficult problem. The last 3 years have been dedicated to working with horticulturalists and communities all over the country, in an effort to understand the problems that a modern grower faces everyday and simplify them. Whether you’re a seasoned grower or just getting started, our aim is to provide you with the confidence you need to grow healthier, happier plants.
