Magic Mind earns polarized reviews: many report real improvements in focus, calm energy, and sustained productivity, while others feel no benefits or experience headaches, nausea, stomach cramps, or jitters. Reviewers praise the sleek packaging, matcha-and-mushroom formula, and convenient shots, but criticize the bitter, herbal taste (especially Maxx), occasional harsh aftertaste, and inconsistent effects.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
A productivity shot blending matcha, adaptogens, and nootropics. Smooth energy without jitters—ideal for focused mornings. Taste is earthy but palatable, I guess...
I really wanted to like Magic Mind, but it gave me terrible headaches and made me incredibly nauseous. I thought it was just a coincidence, but it happened repetitively.

I like the claims on this product, and the ingredient list is great. It tastes refreshing - gingery and grassy. However, I really did not notice a difference in my mental clarity or energy after drinking. The container suggests using daily so effects can build over time. But it is almost $5 a bottle, which is unreasonable for most people. Not a good value in my opinion.
I just could not get behind this product. It tastes absolutely nasty in my opinion. The flavor of agave in this concoction is particularly sickening and I suspect that if that single ingredient was removed, the product would be not so bad at all in terms of taste. Expensive too!
As someone who creates content in the health and wellness field, I’ve found Magic Mind to be a game-changer for boosting focus and energy. This nootropic drink is packed with natural ingredients like matcha, adaptogens, and functional mushrooms, providing a smooth, sustained energy boost without the crash that comes from coffee. It’s great for those looking to enhance mental clarity and productivity throughout the day. The taste is unique but pleasant, and it’s easy to incorporate into my routine. While it’s a bit pricey for a daily habit, the benefits make it a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a cleaner, more balanced energy boost.
This is a little wellness shot with lots of benefits! There is a small amount of agave in here which gives it a nice flavor . J was nervous that it would be too bitter. While it’s not something that I would sip on just for the taste, it wasn’t an issue. I love that it has ceremonial grade matcha and L theanine - both of which are amazing for a chilled out energy. I like that it also contains other vitamins like B12, but the source wasn’t clear to me. I typically try to steer clear of certain kinds of B12, so this would be helpful info to have on the bottle. Also, it would be amazing if they could come out with a glass version! I didn’t notice any immediate effects, but apparently this is something you have to take consistently to see the benefits :)

I had a great experience with Magic Mind. First off, I think the branding is spectacular. I love the handwritten, tech-y feel to the product and website. The product is equally good. I appreciate the thoughtfulness that went into crafting the product (it's clear that the team put a significant amount of time into developing the exact formula). The taste is fantastic - I was actually excited to wake up and sip on these guys in the morning. It's a no-BS brand that I think people, especially people trying to get away from traditional caffeine, should try to incorporate into their routine and see if it's for them!
I tried Magic Mind through their trial pack advertised in Instagram. I was very excited about the product and really wanted it to work for me, but sadly it did not. At first I did get a bit of a boost, but I think that was more due to the cup of coffee I took it with (they advice you take it with a cup of coffee). I did have a crash 3-4 hours later. I was not able to finish my work day calmly. I also did not love the taste, I could give it another try some months down the road, but the price is also very high...

Love this for an afternoon pick me up. gives me a clean and fast energy boost. flavor is a little odd, nothing like match IMO, nothing you can’t power through
Tastes fine, but no discernible difference in mental clarity. I'll take Yerba Mate, Matcha, or just good old coffee. I wish that caffeine free options worked, but they are quite pricey and I've never found one that worked that well.

Not sure if it works, but it sure is cute, tasty and clean!
I've had wellness shots before but sadly, Magic Mind didn't taste great. I love the idea and packaging though.

The taste could use improvement.
unfortunately did not work for me and it didn't taste very good
I can appreciate the formula and clean ingredients, however the taste made it quite difficult to drink. Even the aftertaste made me hesitant to finish the one shot. The price point is a bit too high for me, so as someone who isn't super dependent on "productivity" drinks (I prefer drink shots just for the healthy ingredients moreso) I probably wouldn't pick this up again at $4 but I'm glad I tried it

Day 1, a few minutes after drinking, I experienced extreme stomach cramps followed by extreme diarrhea, bad headache and nausea. I was excited to try magic mind, and wish I could continue and see if I experience any benefits, but unfortunately, I will not be continuing. Don’t want to go through that again. Just really did not sit well with me.

I'm on day 2 and so far it isn't a good experience. The taste/after taste is horrible. Each day, about 20 min after drinking it, I have had horrible stomach cramps and I'm nauseous. I am going to continue taking it and see if it gets any better. Will report back next week. I'm a week in and the taste is still horrible but it definitely helps with focus and has a calming affect.

I absolutely love functional mushrooms and Magic Mind was my first choice to try. To be honest, I’ve enjoyed it so much I haven’t really looked elsewhere. I plan to try other products, but the positive impact it’s had on me has made me stick with it. Cognitive improvements, vocabulary improvement, focus, energy, and confidence…all of which I struggle with…are improved when I take MM fairly consistently. I love the taste, but others I’ve tried to introduce it to have had different experiences. It’s more pricey than I would like, but I’m going on my 6 month. My advice is to try it consistently for at least 10 days and then form a conclusion. I’m a huge fan! ✌️

I like the taste but it has been very hard on my stomach. I am going to keep trying to see if I get use to it. Other than that it tastes good.

I am a big fan of the new formula. I tried the first formula about two years ago, hoping to better my attention and energy at the office (i.e. fight the afternoon crash). The original formula didn't taste great and it upset my stomach, despite some noticeable improvement to focus and combating procrastination in my day. I recently tried the new formula, and this time I thoroughly enjoyed the taste and had no digestive issues. This is a great product, either as a healthy and natural additive to my morning coffee, or a replacement to the afternoon coffee or soda. I've noticed improvement in sleeping as well, in addition to the advertised benefits. I strongly encourage to anyone to rely less on caffeine and/or get more out of their own productive hours during the day.

Subscription makes this a cost-effective product. Otherwise, it's a bit expensive. The company does promise, however, to refund any unsatisfied customers after their first order - so, there is little risk to trying Magic Mind. I'm glad I did.

Love Magic Mind! Great afternoon pick me up without the jitters of coffee. Highly Recommended.
