First off, the packaging is sleek and minimal, with the signature LYS triangular design that feels luxe but understated. The triangle lipstick applicator is on the smaller side, making it easier for me to not over fill my lip line too much. The formula glides on super smoothly and gives a rich, opaque color in just one swipe. What stands out is how lightweight it feels for a matte; it’s not one of those drying formulas that crack after an hour. My lips feel soft while wearing it, thanks to the hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and sunflower seed oil. The only thing I didn't care for since it's not a lip stain matte; it does like to bleed/smear a little bit on my bottom lip. I had to use a concealer to fix it up a little bit. The chocolate cherry is perfect for the name because when I looked at it, I only saw the brown color, but once I applied it to my lips, I saw the undertones of red. I decided to put Lys gloss on top, because in my opinion it looks better this way way.
