Is it just an electric candle lighter? Yes. Is it expensive? Also yes. Is it worth the money? If you want to buy quality and only once then a big yes! I have had a few cheap electric candle lighters off AMAZON and everyone of them stopped working. They were such a pain to use as they were very temperamental. This electric candle lighter has a metal body a beautiful design and works so incredibly well. I do recommend it.
