    Gamechanger for making and sharing chai at home with friends and family. It gets a serious amount of usage. (Of course it would, as I am one of the founders ;) But this is genuine. Since we made it to solve our own problems, and that's what it's done!)

    This is one of my best purchases I have ever made. I absolutely love chai but hated making it because even though I would baby sit the pan steeping the chai, it would always boil over the second I took my eyes off it. But, not any more!! This pot is worth every penny. It is well made and steeps the best Chia I have ever had. I followed the directions on the amount of everything and I even used almond milk and it is absolutely DELICIOUS!! For those who have had an issue with cleaning it, all I do is when I pour the last cup out of it, I fill it with water until I can get back to it. If you don't do that, it will build up very similar to using just a regular pot. So when I get back to it, I just empty the strainer rinse it out and then I use a very soft sponge, the type with a kind of cloth on it and add a little dish soap and it takes everything off with absolutely no effort at all. LOL I wish I could afford several of these to give to friends, it would be a great present, Oh, I made my chai using almond milk and it had the best flavor of any chia I have ever had. Thank you to all those that worked on the design, it's incredible!! I will definitely tell friends about it. Thank you again for an amazing pot!

    The Chai Maker delivers on the promise but after a few usages we're back to using a normal pot from the dark ages - Loka's Chai Maker has non-stick lining within but the bare 'tea leaves' strainer that plugs in has none, which means after every tea the milk / chai simply hardens and is near impossible to clean even with intense scrubbing. One has to scrape it out especially in between the seam it has within. I wish this had non-stick lining too.

    Loka chai maker is a simple and beautiful concept. The ability to make chai without the mess of boiling over or having to stand by the stove constantly adjusting temperature. One of those ideas that makes you say….’why didn’t someone do this earlier!’ Great design and execution, wonderful to use and beautifully packaged.
