  • I love our farmstand!!!! We are able to grow year round fresh herbs, lettuces and flowers. We’ve had the farmstand for a few years now and just gifted one to a friend. We are excited for their feedback, as they have no yard either and were so intrigued by photos of our successes. Things to know: setup is pretty easy, the dolly is helpful, need to make sure water is replenished and the fertilizer is really beneficial. We order seedlings from Lettuce Grow, but we’ve also planted a couple of our own and they have grown successfully too. The roots can get quite long and clog some of the pipes/water flow if left unchanged, which causes the plants to grow quite large (basil is a wonderful example) and difficult to extract. We’ve potted plants that have grown too large and they’ve continued to grow really well. Highly recommend!!

  • I’ve had the Lettuce Grow Nook since last December when I received it as a Christmas gift and I LOVE it! It looks lovely, works pretty simply, and has definitely upped the veggie intake of my family. The whole family snacks on lettuce in passing and it grows so fast we still have enough for a big salad fairly often. The most successful things have been the lettuces and herbs. The cauliflower and cabbage never fruited but they do point out that some plants are better grown outside and I’ve been more mindful of those suggestions since. In the 9 months we’ve had it operating , I’ve done a full clean twice - that’s pretty tedious work but luckily only necessary about quarterly. The weekly work of topping off water and adding nutrients is super easy. Really one of my only gripes is that the dolly (an additional accessory that I think is super helpful) does not wheel with any ease. My other criticism is that I think the app could be better. I don’t feel like it’s all that helpful in maintaining the garden. The community forum with tips from users seems mostly to be on facebook which I don’t use-wish that were in the app too. For example, just finding how much nutrient to add was cumbersome. Overall though, I’m very happy and recommend it to all. I just popped in some strawberries so I’m excited to see how that goes and ordered the Counterstand so will follow up with a review of that.

  • Takes some care, but the results are incredible. Constantly supplied with fresh leafy greens, requiring much less attention than I expected to need to give it. I'm a gardener now!
