Lao Gan Ma reviews and discussion

I'm obsessed with the spicy chili crisp from Laoganma! It's such a great price for how much you get and it tastes amazing on anything- pizza, eggs, dumplings, etc. I've gone through 2 huge jars and have put all my friends on to it as well.

I love spicy food and have tried a lot of different chili crisps. Laoganma Spicy Chili Crisp (it’s not that spicy) is hands down the absolute best I’ve ever had. I’ll often bring it with me when I eat out. No meal is complete without it on top. I add it to ramen, sandwiches, stir fry, tofu scramble, vegan burgers, burritos, tacos, pasta, soup, raw / cooked veggies, potstickers, egg rolls, hummus, avocado toast…you get the idea. I highly suggest everyone runs and gets a bottle, or five.

Lao Gan Ma is a chili crisp condiment. It is not crazy hot, but has a complexity of flavors and interesting texture. Infinitely better than Siracha and smooth chili sauces, goes well on anything, eggs, vegetables, tofu, makes a great marinade for poultry. Some people even use it for an ice cream topping. Lao Gan Ma comes a a variety of flavors: black bean, crispy tofu, preserved vegetables. If you have a less adventurous "American" taste, stick to plain chili crisp.
