Reviews mention

  • Low-glycemic formula, blood-sugar friendly
  • Soft-baked, chewy cookie texture
  • Colorful, eye-catching packaging
  • High-fiber, portion-controlled packs
  • Occasionally dry, cakey texture
  • Noticeable sweetener aftertaste
  • Small cookie size, scant quantity
  • Inconsistent, muted flavor intensity

Joydays earns largely positive reviews as a low-glycemic, low-sugar cookie that satisfies sweet cravings without spikes, with many comparing the soft-baked texture to Chewy Chips Ahoy and praising colorful packaging, generous chocolate chips, fiber, and portion-controlled packs. Reviews also flag downsides: frequent dryness or “healthy”/aftertaste notes, small cookie size, inconsistent texture, and polarizing flavors (notably peanut butter), making them a better-for-you alternative rather than a true classic cookie replacement.

  • As far as healthy cookies go, these taste pretty good. Let's face it, they're not going to replace a craving for Crumbl cookies but I'd eat Joydays over Chips Ahoy. They're soft and don't leave an odd aftertaste that some low-sugar sweets have.

  • The cookies taste pretty good and are on the softer side. They’re a little small but are a good size if you like dunking your cookies in a hot drink. Love that it’s only 1g sugar.

  • These low-sugar treats are delicious and chocolate-y. Individually-wrapped making the cookies fresh and soft. I would definitely suggest these cookies as a sweet and craving on-the-go snack.

  • Beautiful package and high quality ingredients. Soft baked cookies. There was an after taste, perhaps the sweetener. It didn’t taste very flavorful like a cookie should taste to me.

  • A good option for a healthy cookie. Soft cookie with a good texture. It was on the smaller side but that is obviously by design to keep them calories lower and it could of had more chocolate chips. Some times when eating cookies you get the craving to just keep eating, that wasn't the case for these which is probably a good thing :)

  • I was very pleased with Joydays' chocolate chips cookies. I'd tried low sugar "healthy alternative" cookies in the past and hadn't been impressed, they usually leave a weird aftertaste... However I found Joydays to taste just like regular cookies, you can't tell that they're low in sugar! They have a soft texture with a good balance of chocolate chips. I love that the sweeteners are natural and that they don't use sugar alcohol. I look forward to trying more of their products, a cookie with some "crunch" in the texture would be awesome too.

  • I loved the taste and texture of these cookies. Chocolate.......yum! I only wish they were a bit larger for the price.

  • I got the variety pack and tried each out of the package, microwaved, and air-fried. They are best air-fried to bring out some flavors and add some crunch, but you can still tell these aren't really cookies. The two chocolate chip cookies taste like the outside of a fig newton and the peanut butter tastes like real peanut. They are a chewier treat, too. I do like that they're really low in sugar and have a good amount of fiber and a solid amount of protein, too! They're not bad and decent if you want a healthier snack, but they don't replace cookies.

  • The cookies are definitely low sugar, but if you're looking for a healthier alternative to satisfy your sweet tooth this product isn't going to do it. There was no sweetness to it at all. That said, they aren't bad. They just don't taste like a cookie. The price is also high for what you get.

  • I recently got the Joy Days Variety Pack and though I haven't had the chance to try them yet, I’m really excited. These snacks are specially designed for diabetics, offering a balance between great taste and managing blood sugar levels. The fact that they are diabetes-friendly makes them an ideal snack option for those of us keeping an eye on our blood sugar without compromising flavor. From the packaging and ingredient list, the variety pack looks promising. It offers a nice range of flavors, so it’s easy to find something you enjoy while still sticking to dietary goals. I appreciate that the snacks are made with quality ingredients that focus on both health and taste. If you're looking for diabetic-friendly snacks that won’t spike your sugar levels, Joy Days seems like a great option! I’ll update this review once I’ve tried the variety pack, but based on what I know, these snacks seem to hit all the right marks for anyone managing diabetes. Looking forward to diving in! -- The flavor is very average in flavor 57/100

  • The double chocolate chip cookies are so delicious. They are very soft and they have a really good taste. The kids loved it. It has about 6 g of fiber and only 3 g of sugar per pack, which makes it very healthy. It is highly recommended if you want to move towards healthy but you don’t want to give up your sweet craving.

  • These joy days cookies don't taste bad. I chose the chocolate chip one and it was pretty nice though a little mid chewy not to mention the taste was a little not sweet. If I had to rate sweetness, I would give it 6. If they can improve on the sweetness to these cookies, it would be a banger but that's just my opinion.

  • The Joydays Cookies are so good that impossible to eat only one and they disappear like magic. Just love it! And specially because has a 5g of fiber and 10g of carbs. Taste great and healthier. The box comes with 6 packs of total 180g. It’s a great deal!

  • I ordered the peanut butter cookies to try. I found them chewy and full of peanut butter flavor. I liked that they have chopped peanuts mixed in them as well. For a low sugar cookie, they were decent.

  • My experience with the product was middling. Low sugar decision makes it a bit less tasty admittedly. The cookies were a bit dry for my taste. Peanut butter version was too chunky in my opinion. Double chocolate version didn't have enough chocolate flavor in my opinion.

  • I'm trying this brand of cookies for the first time. Since it's low in sugar, it doesn't taste as sweet as regular cookies. But it's good if you're watching your sugar intake and craving a sweet.

  • I've never heard of Joyday cookies before but I kept seeing people talking about them and how good they were so I thought I'd join in and see what all the hype was about. I like that they're soft cookies, and that you can taste the peanut butter but it was just a slight taste of peanut butter, I would like to have a strong peanut butter flavor and these just didn't do it for me

  • The branding and packaging for Joydays is really fun and eyecatching which made me really excited to try this product. I ordered the cookies on Amazon. When I opened the package, I found the Joydays box partially crushed, one corner has a 1 inch tear and the plastic safety sticker completely unattached, so the box was unsealed. At Joydays' higher price point, I would have liked to see a sturdier box and higher quality stickers to ensure safe arrival of the product, and made me concerned but I know things can happen in shipping. Unfortunately, I opened the Joydays box to find brown flecks of (what I assume is) chocolate splattered on the outside of one of the top flaps and more across the inside the box. This immediately paired with the unsealed, distressed exterior packaging made me feel unsafe about consuming the product. I looked over all of the 6 included cookie packs and didn't see any holes in the packaging, so I'm not sure how this happened. I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to actually try the cookies because of unsealed packaging and splatters inside the box. I was excited to try this product, so hopefully they can address this issue with Amazon orders.

  • Not my favorite tasting cookie but i dont think tastiness is the main purpose of this cookie. Does it taste better than a ton of other fiber packed low sugar options? Sure. Did i finish the box? Also a yes. Overall, this is no crumble cookie but the benefits far outweigh the taste, which isnt that bad.

  • It was a nice size for a snack - two small cookies. I liked that the cookies were soft. The taste was good, not too healthy. The packaging is attractive. My children also liked the cookies.
