Reviews mention

  • Low-glycemic formula, blood-sugar friendly
  • Soft-baked, chewy cookie texture
  • Colorful, eye-catching packaging
  • High-fiber, portion-controlled packs
  • Occasionally dry, cakey texture
  • Noticeable sweetener aftertaste
  • Small cookie size, scant quantity
  • Inconsistent, muted flavor intensity

Joydays earns largely positive reviews as a low-glycemic, low-sugar cookie that satisfies sweet cravings without spikes, with many comparing the soft-baked texture to Chewy Chips Ahoy and praising colorful packaging, generous chocolate chips, fiber, and portion-controlled packs. Reviews also flag downsides: frequent dryness or “healthy”/aftertaste notes, small cookie size, inconsistent texture, and polarizing flavors (notably peanut butter), making them a better-for-you alternative rather than a true classic cookie replacement.

  • I am so happy I was able to try out these cookies. I bought the chocolate one since you can't go wrong with chocolate!!! It good!! I enjoyed the cookies and taste like one of my fav cookies I buy at the store. The only downside to it, is it's a little dry....soft cookies but dry, but I eat it with milk and it's great!

  • The cookies aren’t bad but they’re not great either. I like that they’re healthy and are better for me than regular cookies but they’re not satisfying at all. They taste like sweetened flour. My suggestion is that instead of trying to mimic the taste of cookies, perhaps make something with a unique taste or with different ingredients instead. For example, I’ve tried brands that make seasoned chickpeas as an alternative to chips. It’s something that I’ll reach for and it’s healthier too. I would never reach for these cookies. I’d rather eat fruit or nothing.

  • As an alternative snack, Joydays is trying to fill a need but must offer more to do so. The cookies have an appealing soft texture, but can crumble. Without sugar, the taste needs to be much more flavorful. The peanut butter choice is the best tasting. The chocolate cookie has very little chocolate taste to it. Each pack comes with two cookies which are each disappointingly about the size of an Oreo. For the price one would expect more satisfying size. This product is a grand idea, but must go further to bring some joy to Joy days.

  • I can’t believe that each cookie contains only 1.5 grams of sugar. Tastes just as good as regular cookies. It also contains good amount of fiber so I can enjoy without feeling guilty.

  • I tried the chocolate chip cookies and really did not consider them as good of a treat as average cookies. They were filling as a snack, but really not that great tasting. I would not buy them again. Not impressed.

  • Good source of fibre, double chocolate cookies were just covered in mold. They are very expensive and small.

  • I got the 6 pack of the chocolate chip. I like them! First of all, I think all the packaging is super cute and poppy. The cookies themselves are super tasty and soft, and I like the ingredients they're made with and the fact that they have fiber, which is not something you find in cookies a lot. The price point is a little high for me, but I get it. Would recommend if you're someone who's looking to indulge in sweet treats but also wants to be aware of the type of sugars you're eating.

  • Pretty tasty cookies that feature a ton less sugar than the average sweet treat. The fiber included is a nice bonus as well! Very much on the pricey side to the point where I can't see myself purchasing them in the near future. 12 small cookies for 15 dollars is definitely tough to swallow.

  • Overall I did like them! I do think the garbanzo bean flavor comes through, but I love having healthy cookie options and still ate them all up. I would continue to buy them and while it's difficult to ask for healthy and tasty, I think they do a pretty decent job of balancing the two! I feel like they're just a few tweaks away from perfecting their product and would support them to make that possible.

  • The cookies taste delicious. Although it only has 3g sugar, it tastes like the real chocolate cookies.

  • I received this item for free with the caveat of needing to leave a review for the product. Found the cookies to be on the dry side and not very flavorful. They were soft to eat and chew. Extremely pricey.

  • Has a weird texture and taste… almost like it’s super saturated in fat. Would not buy again.
