  • Jot coffee was disappointing for me. The taste was off—not the smooth, rich flavor I expected. Beyond that, the coffee buzz felt strange and not as energizing or enjoyable as I'd hoped. I appreciate the concept of a concentrated coffee, but the experience didn’t live up to my usual coffee routine. Unfortunately, it’s not something I’d buy again.

  • I thought the coffee was very high quality and it was extremely convenient. The bottle is nicely designed and I liked the unboxing. I'm not sure it's something I would buy for everyday use but I enjoyed it.

    Feedback

The stopper didn't go all the way in which made me worry about spills. So I think that's a bit of a design thing. Otherwise, for everyday use I would probably want a much larger bottle since I would go through a number of these smaller bottles pretty quickly.

  • Super convenient and decent taste for the convenience. I drink my coffee black. I find their 1 Tbs to 8oz a bit too weak, 1.5 Tbs to 8oz is my preference. The resulting cup is a little flat but still SO much better than most instant freeze-dried, and at a comparable price point. I’ve tried instant-adjacent coffee from incredible producers across the globe and I would recommend Jot for this price point. I have not tried it iced yet but think it would shine that way. Unboxing and shipping were decent and it would have make a nice gift. Bonus— the empty bottle are wonderful for splitting a big order of olive oil among friends! :)

  • Coffee is not any better than another. The issue is they do not honor their return policy when you wish return any product. Opened or not.

  • Jot is extremely convenient and the cleanest way to make coffee. A month's of coffee is stored in 2 bottles that barely take up any fridge space. I don't have to worry about waking up my partner in the morning when I grind my beans. Unlike coffee, you can't add more beans to make a strong cup. Increasing Jot to water ratio changes the taste profile significantly. The taste is fine, not incredible. It's a premium instant coffee but not coffee shop or perfect French Press quality. Cometeer is much better. Given the price $1.70 a cup I'd say it's a reasonable alternative to Nespresso, if you don't want to buy the machine. Nespresso still makes a noise for those sharing living spaces when your partner is working.

    Feedback

The coffee always drips from the bottle no matter how careful you are. They have to send the bottles with better pouring lids. The taste is not quite there yet, hope.the formula improves.

  • It's tasty and convenient, but I prefer making my coffee fresh daily.

  • As a recent grad & amateur adult, Jot is an answer to my wakeup call prayers with its convenience... just add water? Count me in!

    Feedback

Jot should probably come with a warning label. If you like your coffee strong, Jot is for you. If you're an amateur adult like me, tread lightly or be prepared to bounce off the walls for a couple hours.

  • I've been experimenting with quick, easy ways to get a delicious cup of morning coffee, as I just had a baby a few months ago. Jot was an option that caught my eye (and was excited to see it was a fellow parent that was inspired to found and start the company!). After a week of using it, I have to say that the flavor is great, it's quick and easy to use, and solves my issue of getting a quick caffeine fix in the morning.

I wish there were less caffeinated or decaf options. One tablespoon (the recommended amount) is 150mg, which is a little bit high sometimes. It is on the pricier side, with smaller bottles, but i assume the small bottles are for freshness.

  • I really enjoy this as an alternative to the crappy coffee one can often be stuck with while traveling. It's really good coffee but also tastes good both hot and cold. It's truly versatile!

    Feedback

It's a little pricey for my day-to-day but I'll continue to use it for travel!

  • Jot is one of my favorite concentrated coffees I've tried to date. I started preferring this over Starbucks (I'm basic...I know.) I was spending way to much on coffee so thought this would be a great alternative to the 2nd/3rd coffee run of the day. This is by far the most stolen item when we host people over for brunch.

    Feedback

Not any improvements... although I wish they came out with a blonde roast version

  • I like the concept, but overall flavor vs. price wasn’t enough to justify a subscription. At the end of the day, I preferred buying a fresh cold brew or using my espresso machine at home. I’d maybe reconsider if the price came down but just didn’t see the value for where the product is at right now

  • I was super excited to try Jot, after all the good press and ads I have received. While I do not think it's bad - and maybe I'm making it wrong - I did not find it to be super flavorful. It's definitely way better than most instant coffees, and 1000% better than Keurig. The product is very clever and innovative and I'd pick this over a lot of quick coffee options.

    Feedback

The stopper didn't feel super secure, I'm worried about it spilling. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or not, but I'd work on the coffee flavoring. I really couldn't taste it in the batches I made.

  • Jot looks cool and tastes great. My biggest issue with the product is just that the unbottling and pouring is a bit awkward, and the coffee itself isn't highly distinctive... just effective and good.

    Feedback

Bottle is a little awkward to stop/unstop.

  • I really like the concept, especially as someone who drinks a massive amount of cold brew every day. Jot tastes good, is easy to dose and mix, and I love the design of the bottle.

    Feedback

I'm not certain of the science, but I do feel like the more you have to dilute something (in this case, a lot), the less flavorful or strong the result is compared to something less diluted. I find regular cold brew to have overall more flavor once diluted than Jot, but I'll have to experiment more.

  • I really like the idea, bottle, and spoon.

    Feedback

I'm a bit of a wimp drinking strong coffee. This stuff made me feel like I was on crack.

  • Don’t love the flavor and was very pricey. Love the packaging though and it was easy to use.

  • Jolt is a great easy way to have cold brew with out brewing your own and it taking over the fridge.

  • Easy and pretty tasty! Love the small packaging and ease of use. We ordered a few times, but ultimately chose a different brand to go with for now.

  • I used jot for a year before I bought my current espresso machine, but this product is amazing. It works so well with both hot and cold beverages and mixes well with all milks. The only reason I switched is because I love lattes and couldn't get this to work like a true shot of espresso. No other complaints though!

  • Honestly very good coffee. Every offering has incredibly smooth flavor with strong caffeine content. I used to make my own coffee (pour over, cold brew, chemex) but I've given it all up in favor of Jot. While it is pricier than making your own at home, it is better than what you could make at home, better than most coffee shops, and because it is concentrate, it is highly customizable to your own tastes and preferences. They also do have really good sales often! The product itself is awesome and I would recommend. Always look forward to their new flavors. The packaging is nice and sleek, although recycling it is difficult since the spout has to be removed first, and it takes some work with pliers to ease the spout out. (Sometimes if you pull too hard, the spout rips off lol) Re-using the glass bottle is also a little iffy because the bottle mouth is too small for a bottle brush so you do need to own a dishwasher in order to clean it, and then the included cap is only suitable to be used with the rubber spout. (Which really does need to be removed prior to cleaning/reusing and recycling.) Customer service is very nice as well! Canceling the subscription is a little annoying, as you have to email (like every other subscription-based service these days). The sustainability could use work I think, with the spout & glass bottles are heavy to ship Don't get me wrong! It's definitely better than plastic ! But yeah just could use some work Makes a great gift (: for a coffee lover in your life, as it is a consumable good & it is very high quality with beautiful packaging.

    Feedback

sustainability & packaging cancellation process perhaps price, but not sure what their current profit margin is so :/ also the quality is very good !
