  • Super convenient and decent taste for the convenience. I drink my coffee black. I find their 1 Tbs to 8oz a bit too weak, 1.5 Tbs to 8oz is my preference. The resulting cup is a little flat but still SO much better than most instant freeze-dried, and at a comparable price point. I’ve tried instant-adjacent coffee from incredible producers across the globe and I would recommend Jot for this price point. I have not tried it iced yet but think it would shine that way. Unboxing and shipping were decent and it would have make a nice gift. Bonus— the empty bottle are wonderful for splitting a big order of olive oil among friends! :)

  • Coffee is not any better than another. The issue is they do not honor their return policy when you wish return any product. Opened or not.

  • I thought the coffee was very high quality and it was extremely convenient. The bottle is nicely designed and I liked the unboxing. I'm not sure it's something I would buy for everyday use but I enjoyed it.

The stopper didn't go all the way in which made me worry about spills. So I think that's a bit of a design thing. Otherwise, for everyday use I would probably want a much larger bottle since I would go through a number of these smaller bottles pretty quickly.

  • Jot is extremely convenient and the cleanest way to make coffee. A month's of coffee is stored in 2 bottles that barely take up any fridge space. I don't have to worry about waking up my partner in the morning when I grind my beans. Unlike coffee, you can't add more beans to make a strong cup. Increasing Jot to water ratio changes the taste profile significantly. The taste is fine, not incredible. It's a premium instant coffee but not coffee shop or perfect French Press quality. Cometeer is much better. Given the price $1.70 a cup I'd say it's a reasonable alternative to Nespresso, if you don't want to buy the machine. Nespresso still makes a noise for those sharing living spaces when your partner is working.

The coffee always drips from the bottle no matter how careful you are. They have to send the bottles with better pouring lids. The taste is not quite there yet, hope.the formula improves.

  • Don’t love the flavor and was very pricey. Love the packaging though and it was easy to use.

  • Jolt is a great easy way to have cold brew with out brewing your own and it taking over the fridge.

  • Easy and pretty tasty! Love the small packaging and ease of use. We ordered a few times, but ultimately chose a different brand to go with for now.

  • It's tasty and convenient, but I prefer making my coffee fresh daily.

  • I like being able to make my cold brew stronger or weaker depending on the day, and it's nice to use it like espresso and make a strong latte. However, I didn't get as many uses out of it as the packaging says, so I'm not sure if it's worth the price.

  • The product works for what I bought it for. I work 12 hour shifts at a hospital with a long commute each way. The Starbucks bill was adding up and the coffee pot on the unit is less than appealing. If you’re looking for a quick cup of coffee that you can drink cold and a fraction of the price of buying out. This is for you. If you’re expecting decadences chose another product. I did a monthly subscription and it was more than I needed, changing to every two months was an easy process.

  • Not a great taste - but just ok. The auto ship program is a joke. They send emails ahead of time to let you know a shipment will be up-coming HOWEVER when you open the email …. (In my case to cancel the shipment since I didn’t want it), it automatically sets to ship and you have no choice. I contacted them within seconds and they claimed “it already shipped”. Impossible to have been true. If you try it - just beware of their auto-shipment game '. Cancel immediately and order IF and WHEN you want to. Rude customer service reps complete their package. I don’t even know how they can be titled customer ‘service’. Good luck if you choose to sign up.

  • The coffee isn't great. I was interested in trying their non-seasonal flavors so I went ahead and gave them a second shot. (pun intended) Then I had an abrupt trip come up, so I went to pause/move the shipment. Their website failed over and over, I tried again the next day and still got a "order is processing" email. I emailed them right away that day. They told me "too bad, we ship so fast we can't stop it" -- this is on a Sunday... I gave up after the back and forth. Gave me 23% discount on my order instead of fixing the problem. Alas, the package came and sat for around two weeks while I was out of town. I picked it up, and it didn't even have the new flavor I wanted to try so it's a complete bust. Customer service denies their system failed, called me a liar and said they wouldn't do anything about it. Maybe that Vanilla has a nice aftertaste and I would have been a long-term customer, but the rest of the coffees I tried have a chalky aftertaste and certainly not worth the hassle. Cancelled my subscription and won't look back.

  • My teens and I love Jot. One son never drank coffee until he tried an iced coffee i made him with jot. Now he loves jot iced coffee. People have complained about the price, it feels expensive but when you do the math its about $2 a coffee. Those foofoo coffees I love cost $5-6 so its worth it to me. As for the subscriotion I was annoyed when I made my 1st order but after tasting it I actually cancelled my other coffee subscription. I love how versitle it is too, coffee on ice cream check, coffee martini check, you get the picture.

  • As a recent grad & amateur adult, Jot is an answer to my wakeup call prayers with its convenience... just add water? Count me in!

    Feedback

Jot should probably come with a warning label. If you like your coffee strong, Jot is for you. If you're an amateur adult like me, tread lightly or be prepared to bounce off the walls for a couple hours.

  • I've been experimenting with quick, easy ways to get a delicious cup of morning coffee, as I just had a baby a few months ago. Jot was an option that caught my eye (and was excited to see it was a fellow parent that was inspired to found and start the company!). After a week of using it, I have to say that the flavor is great, it's quick and easy to use, and solves my issue of getting a quick caffeine fix in the morning.

    Feedback

I wish there were less caffeinated or decaf options. One tablespoon (the recommended amount) is 150mg, which is a little bit high sometimes. It is on the pricier side, with smaller bottles, but i assume the small bottles are for freshness.

  • I really enjoy this as an alternative to the crappy coffee one can often be stuck with while traveling. It's really good coffee but also tastes good both hot and cold. It's truly versatile!

    Feedback

It's a little pricey for my day-to-day but I'll continue to use it for travel!

  • I like the concept, but overall flavor vs. price wasn’t enough to justify a subscription. At the end of the day, I preferred buying a fresh cold brew or using my espresso machine at home. I’d maybe reconsider if the price came down but just didn’t see the value for where the product is at right now

  • Jot is one of my favorite concentrated coffees I've tried to date. I started preferring this over Starbucks (I'm basic...I know.) I was spending way to much on coffee so thought this would be a great alternative to the 2nd/3rd coffee run of the day. This is by far the most stolen item when we host people over for brunch.

    Feedback

Not any improvements... although I wish they came out with a blonde roast version

  • I was super excited to try Jot, after all the good press and ads I have received. While I do not think it's bad - and maybe I'm making it wrong - I did not find it to be super flavorful. It's definitely way better than most instant coffees, and 1000% better than Keurig. The product is very clever and innovative and I'd pick this over a lot of quick coffee options.

    Feedback

The stopper didn't feel super secure, I'm worried about it spilling. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or not, but I'd work on the coffee flavoring. I really couldn't taste it in the batches I made.

  • Jot looks cool and tastes great. My biggest issue with the product is just that the unbottling and pouring is a bit awkward, and the coffee itself isn't highly distinctive... just effective and good.

    Feedback

Bottle is a little awkward to stop/unstop.
