Josie Maran's Pink Algae Pro-Retinol Body Butter delivers the most hydration. It's a super thick body butter that takes a bit of elbow grease to rub in but as soon as you do, it's totally worth it. It's instantly moisturizing and makes my very dry skin feel good. There really isn't a scent. The jar is large and will last me a long time.
This moisturizer feels rich at first but absorbs into my skin exceptionally well. It leaves my face soft, smooth, and hydrated with no greasy residue. It’s nourishing without feeling heavy, and works great in both my morning and night routine. After a few weeks, I noticed a more even texture and subtle smoothing. I haven’t had any irritation or dryness, which is rare for me with retinol-based products. This one feels gentle but still delivers visible results. It’s one of the few products I actually look forward to using! My skin just feels better every time I reach for it.
