I expected trade-offs that would make me miss my old Ziplocs. None of that happened. These bags are durable and seal perfectly. Because sustainability should never mean settling, and this proves it doesn’t have to.

Aside from looking good and having a thicker, soft-feel, these bags also perform well. I originally purchased when I was doing a lot of meal prepping and freezer meals. I didn't want to labor over recipes and then place the food in traditional plastic bags. These bags are completely comparable to more mainstream options, but offer the peace of mind of less toxins. I purchased from Amazon and it took a while, but am always looking out for the brand in stores. I feel like it's a specialty purchase or spurgle if I know I'm making something vs being stocked up for daily use.

I have a subscription for Hold On's trash bags, which I get once a month. These are the best plastic-free/sustainable trash bags I've tried, and I've tried multiple. They're a lot stronger than they look, and hold a lot more than you'd expect. I've never once had a spill, leak, or breakage. Also love that there is a substantial discount for subscribers. Love!

Love, love these bags! They look cool, save the environment, and I don't feel guilty when I send them with my daughter for school lunch/snacks (the reusable bags we have are just too hard for her to open, so these are a great alternative).
