  • I absolutely love my Hobonichi planners. Without exaggeration, this is the best planner I’ve ever used. What makes it so special is the versatility it adapts to whatever I need, whether that’s work tasks, personal goals, or just jotting down random thoughts. I personally use a Weeks for work it’s compact, fits in my bag, and the horizontal weekly layout helps me see deadlines and meetings at a glance. For my personal life, I use a HON, which gives me more space for journaling, habit tracking, and daily reflections. Having both covers the full spectrum of my life without feeling redundant. Another huge plus is the variety of themes and sizes. There’s something for everyone, whether you want a sleek minimalist look or a fun, colorful design. The paper is thin yet handles fountain pens like a dream, and the layout is thoughtful down to the smallest detail. If you’re on the fence, just go for it. It’s helped me stay organized in a way no other planner has. Highly recommend!

  • The paper quality is UNMATCHED. This brand is one of the most popular journals for good reason. I bought the A6 size planner book for 2025 and there are quite a few things I love about it: The binding will lay flat no matter where you open the notebook. The Tomoe river paper is unbelievably smooth. Each daily page has a minimal design but cute little icons that are great for organizing finer details of the day. Colored notches help navigate while the notebook is closed. Two types of monthly pages that make it easier to see year-at-a-glance and regular calendars. AND the famed “My 100” spread is a cool place to interpret something I’d like to track to a hundred by the end of the year. It also helps facilitate reflection on a more regular basis with “coming up” pages for each month. I like using this space to recap the previous month and plan ahead. This planner specifically is perfect to note small tasks and thoughts each day with enough room to include decorations. A solid middle-ground for people who want something between free-flowing journal entries and complicated art spreads.

  • This is my first year having a Hobonichi and I am absolutely in love. Amazing paper, incredible design and attention to detail in these planners. I have a Cousin, and ive also purchased a couple of cute stencils as well as a clear cover. I havent used a planner for a long time and I don't have a busy schedule, but I do really like the full page layout for a lightweight journal & to write town tasks, ideas, things Im thinking about, etc.
