  • Hello Fresh has its pros and cons! I was a subscriber for awhile but have since unsubscribed! The main pro I found with using Hello Fresh was it provides all of the ingredients needed to make delicious home-cooked meals. This saves time looking for recipes and grocery shopping. It's delivered straight to your door, which is convenient! The main con I found with Hello Fresh was the amount of packaging that comes with each box. It is understandable, however, it feels wasteful in comparison to just going to the store and purchasing bigger sized items. It really depends if it fits with your lifestyle. I am not a pro in the kitchen, and often the meal prep time took much longer for me to complete than listed. Since it was a subscription, some weeks I would receive it but not find time to make my meals and end up giving it to a friend. I think Hello Fresh can be helpful to get into the kitchen but I don't think it is sustainable long-term.

  • Meals were okay in the beginning but after a while they were repeats. Customer service is horrible!

  • I started with them because my husband is dying and I need the help. The food is good. The Service is not there. The first few weeks I had no issues. Then the weeks to follow, no deliveries. They sent me notifications that my food was delivered with a picture of what looked like a vacant or under construction building. Not my door. Mistakes happen, I get that. But Really, it was so obvious that no one could be living at the door they dropped it at. Spent hours when trying to get my money back. No luck on that! No manage ever even called me back.

  • Well, let me tell you about my experience with those recipes from Hello Chef.⚡ The dishes I whipped up were alright, I guess. But here's the thing, a sprinkle of seasoning wouldn't have hurt anybody!😁😊 It's like they were afraid to add flavour to the mix. And to top it off, my ingredient box was playing hide-and-seek with me. Seriously, it felt like a culinary scavenger hunt. I was missing so many ingredients, I had to get creative and make substitutions left and right.😑 It was an adventure, at least!

  • I fell for one of Hello Fresh's bait and switch $3.97 per meal for 3 meals introductory offer on May 19th. Then after entering my credit card information to give them a try, they told me I had to schedule the 3 meals out over the next 2 weeks out through June 6th. We are leaving for our summer home on May 31 and only one of the meals could be scheduled before we are leaving. So I tried to schedule the meals to arrive before May 31 and could not do so, only push the deliveries out in time. Then a Cancel My Order screen came up and I did so on May 19th. Then May 22 all three meals show up in one box! I tred to contact Hello Fresh and found that they had charged us $24 with $55 pending. They would not cancel the the 2nd delivery but agreed to cancel all future deliveries. We contacted our credit card company and put in a dispute for all the money $24 +$55. Then today May 27the 2nd meal delivery arrived! We do not want their food delivery service and have learend that they are crooks. Please help us get our $79 back and help us make everyone aware of how dishonest and crooked Hello Fresh is. Thank you Mike Baker Daytona Beach, FL

  • Stay away from these people! Be aware . I filled out an account online to send some food to my daughter, aded some boxes to the cart, but I never finish check out our place an order button. Surprisingly, they charged me $38 and then $77 they say I signed up a contract with them for a weekly plan and then it shows the delivery in my daughter got nothing there’s no one delivery done I called them they don’t return your money because they said you had a contract with them. Those people are bad they are scammers because now I need to do with my credit card and maybe take them to court or something. I did not authorize any charge on my credit card. I never clicked the button to buy anything or sign up a contract with them.

    They’re gonna make me pay $77 for nothing I didn’t get anything . The delivery shows they had a lot of problems and then in the end they said it was delivered. No was not.

  • Saw a deal online and thought I would check out what seemed like a good idea to get some variety on our dinner recipes. Ordered it, was looking forward to trying it. On the day the delivery (that could come anytime between 7am-7pm) 2h before the cutoff I receive a message saying there was an issue with my delivery in transit and I wouldn’t receive it or any replacement. Great. They refunded my hello fresh account but not directly the bank. I was a bit annoyed but decided to cut them so slack so placed an order for the following week. Kept receiving emails saying I received my delivery asking how was it and if I could rate it. Then noticed they charged me for my second delivery before I received it instead of using the funds I already had paid for my ghost first delivery. Tried to contact costumer services to cancel my upcoming delivery and the hello fresh account, they quite literally blew me off. When I explained my situation they said there was nothing they could do and tried to placate me with discounts. I told them the money was not the issue but the flakiness, lack of communication on their part and to be honest terrible customer service was and therefore, no, I wasn’t after discounts I just wanted to cancel my account and get a refund of all the money they had already taken from my account. I was told that was against company policy and was just not possible so could I please be understanding of their situation. I told them they should be the ones looking after the customers not the other way around. They said ok let me see what we can do and left me hanging for 40 min and in the end never got back to me. Don’t use this service if you don’t want to risk going through some really unprofessional organisation issues and appalling customer service.
