  • Creamy oat chocolate texture

  • Occasionally dense bar texture
  • Muted pretzel crunch presence
  • Overly nutty flavor balance

Harken Sweets earns positive reviews as a satisfying, plant‑based candy bar alternative that convincingly mimics classics (The Nutty One likened to a less‑sweet Snickers; The Gooey One to a vegan Milky Way), with creamy oat chocolate, date caramel, and high‑quality ingredients. Reviews also note drawbacks: occasional dense or overly nutty texture, uneven crunch or minimal nuts/pretzel, sweetness that reads “alternative” for some, and limited flavor variety mentioned by fans wanting more options.

  • These are great and they are made with dates. Love dates eat them everyday.

  • I got the crunchy one and like the taste of caramel and pretzel in the chocolate. They are a little pricey, only five mini bars for $8.99 at sprouts.

  • I tried the coconut date mini bars and they are so freaking good! I love them and they are so much better than the competitor band in my opinion. The are pretty clean and the perfect treat at the end of the day. Will buy again!

  • I love these chocolates!! I love how they are naturally sweetened using dates and comes in delicious flavors. My favorite one is the purple one, it has creamy nougat on the inside. love the packaging design as well.

  • I’m trying to reduce dairy in my diet but I am a big caramel lover so I was so happy to come across this product. Although it’s not completely like a caramel the date camel is a very good alternative and hits the spot when I’m craving something sweet.

  • Pretty solid vegan candy bars & I appreciate that they're lower in sugar. A bit spendy, but you're paying for the quality. The Gooey One & the Crunchy One are both particularly good, with the former being a good stand-in as a vegan Milky Way.

  • I’ve had the nutty one, it’s tender and sweet and reminds me of a snickers. It has a lot of sugars, so I don’t find many occasions where I can partake, but when I do, it is a delight. (Even if I do have to cut it into 1/4ths. Just means I can enjoy it 4 times.)

  • These candy bars did not last in my house! They were so delicious. I love that they have dates in them. We have tried two varieties so far and would love to try more.

  • I tried both The Crunchy One and The Nutty One and I much preferred The Nutty One. It was so delicious with the caramel and peanuts. I love that it is a plant-based candy bar and only has 140 calories in each bar. Highly recommend!

  • These sweet treats are great alternative to unhealthy chocolates. The dates give it a gooey texture that mimics regular chocolate bars.

  • Really loved Harken Sweets! The flavors were awesome—just the right mix of nostalgic and unique. Everything tasted super fresh and high quality. Definitely something I’d buy again, I really enjoyed not getting the same old stuff.

  • These were decent. They definitely had that alternative sweetener taste. I think these are better for people who haven't eaten real sugar in a while.

  • Awesome little candy bars that feel like an upgraded version of the classics (the Nutty one is a like less sweet Snickers). I prefer the toned down sweetness level of these vegan candy bars. They care doing big things with their version of a nondairy caramel!

  • My expectations were honestly low for this product. But the flavor for the nutty one was very similar to a snickers bar. I would never guess that it had no added sugar or was plant based. I will say that the date caramel flavor didn’t exactly shine. The main flavors I was getting were the chocolate and the peanuts, which were still good. The main thing that would stop me from buying it again is the price. It’s hard to justify purchasing an almost $3 chocolate bar, although the price makes sense given the ingredient quality.

  • The caramel pretzel bar is one of my favorite candy bar alternatives. It has so much flavor and you can tell it’s made with high quality ingredients. The date caramel and sea salt go perfectly with the crunchy pretzel and oat chocolate. I only wish they had more than a few flavors, so I could try more!

  • I'm not a huge chocolate fan but REALLY enjoyed this bar! I got it free with Social Nature offer and picked "the crunchy one" to my surprise it was more chewy than crunchy which I LOVED! I would definitely recommend this bar.

  • These Harkin seeets are so good. I have tried the coconut one. And if you were to set a mounds bar in this one down next to each other, it would be very hard to tell, which is which. To be honest, I probably prefer the Harken bar. The taste of the chocolate is smooth and chocolatey. You get a small punch of the date. But the coconut filling is so tropical and coconut tasting. I have the ones with nuts to try next and I am looking forward to them. Best new candy bar on the market I think.

  • Honestly it was really good, tasted like a healthier version of a candy bar but definitely satisfied the cravings for a candy bar. It was just the right amount of sweetness and a good texture as well.
