Harken Sweets earns positive reviews as a satisfying, plant‑based candy bar alternative that convincingly mimics classics (The Nutty One likened to a less‑sweet Snickers; The Gooey One to a vegan Milky Way), with creamy oat chocolate, date caramel, and high‑quality ingredients. Reviews also note drawbacks: occasional dense or overly nutty texture, uneven crunch or minimal nuts/pretzel, sweetness that reads “alternative” for some, and limited flavor variety mentioned by fans wanting more options.
I love these. Satisfying without the sugar crash you get from candy bars filled with refined sugar. These are sweetened with dates and the peanut to nougat ratio is great. I like this in a belt bag so I can eat one if I’m on the go and need energy.
I was able to try this product for free through a rebate website. I absolutely loved them! I tried a few different flavors and liked each one. They taste like normal chocolate bars but a much healthier alternative.
I really like Harken Sweets and their mission. I realized they made their products about half the size from when I first started buying them. The bag costs about $10 and you get 5 candies so you are paying $2 per small candy. They’re good but not $2 per piece of candy good.
I was so lucky to be able to try these for free otherwise I would've gone my whole life not knowing how delicious these are. Their ingredient list is so perfect too; it's insane that these have no added sugar, yet taste the way they do. I would have never guessed these were plant based if I hadn't read the packaging. The snack-sized calories per bar completely made sense and I would feel no guilt eating these. My only complaint with these is they're expensive as hell, which makes me shed a tear because I will only be able to purchase them once a blue moon. Overall, if you're craving a healthier sweet treat, these are worth it.
