Hanni has been my go-to for shaving products for a solid year now, and their Water Balm has become a winter skincare essential. The hydration it provides is on another level, leaving my skin feeling incredibly nourished. It's become a staple in my routine, and I appreciate how consistently effective and reliable Hanni products are. If you're looking for quality and hydration, the Hanni Water Balm is definitely worth checking out.

Hanni Splash Salve has become such a lifesaver during times of cold weather. It’s so easy to apply in the shower and saves me from having to put lotion on when it’s so cold and all I want to do is put on my warm clothes. Splash Salve not only smells amazing, but has my skin feeling more hydrated and moisturized than if I were to put on my normal after-shower lotions. 

I thoroughly enjoyed this product! I've always wanted to try something like this so I can save time after I get out of the shower. The smell was different but I liked it! It smelled very natural/simple; an earthy/musky smell is how I would describe it. And it even doubled as an emergency hair conditioner because I showered at my boyfriend's and didn't have any! lol So I just used the excess from my hands in my hair. ^_^

Hanni's Spash Salve is great at keeping my skin moisturized and works much better than my usual body butters and lotions. It adheres to the skin really well like a nice protective layer. The only thing to note is the really strong floral fragrance. I can still smell it the following day, it's that strong. I would love an unscented version.

I found Hanni's Splash Salve to be an innovative way to moisturize my skin. I applied the salve directly in the shower as a last step, I then rinsed very quickly and it did seem to "activate" the salve and make my skin look nice and shiny. I patted down gently to dry. The salve does leave my skin much more moisturized than my usual products, it's almost more like a moisturizing treatment. I find that using it twice a week is the perfect amount for me. The scent is a strong floral/perfume type, I do find it too strong and would prefer something more subtle.

DRY SKIN? Look no further! 
My skin type is EXTREMELY dry. Saying, “dry” would be a form of understatement. So yes, extremely dry. I first learned about hanni via instagram. I was tired of trying products labeled for dry skin and it does everything but soothes my itchy skin. After showers my skin tends to itch, and no I don’t use hot water- it HAS TO BE COLD; the most insane part is that even after the cold showers, my skin still itch… well I should put that in the past tense. Before hanni, my skin would still itch even if showered in cold water. The cocoon cleansing bar is just PURE BLISS! I love how my skin feels after using the water balm spray on moisturizing mist directly after my showers. I can now use my favorite moisturizers without worrying about my skin drinking it and leaving me ashy LOL. My secret is to spray it all over my damped body, and barely rub it in (I just give it a few taps lol!). I then use my fav moisturizer, and then use the water balm to seal it in. I watch my skin glow on a daily now ;) I’d tell you to be careful with the [water balm] bottle as it is glass, (or should I say was) but hanni continues to raise the bar and up their game. For all my Dry skin and/or sustainable friends, get you some hanni :P 

I love it. I have been looking for such product all this time. It smells so good, mild and relaxing. It locks in the moisture right after shower. Not greasy after applying it. Just perfect. It is vegan, cruelty free, and non toxic. Even the ink printed on the box is vegetable-based. The container and the box are curbside recyclables.

I've loved every product from Hanni since I first discovered their razor. This winter I couldn't live without the splash salve on my dry legs and arms. It is brilliant because you apply it in the shower and then you're already done hydrating! 

The Hanni made my skin feel smooth. My skin is more on the drier side so this felt like it nourished my skin. It also smells really good. 

I have the splash salve and the water balm and both are so good. The salve is so moisturizing I can just get out of the shower and go without another product. It actually prevents against bug bites too. 

I was given the Water Balm because a friend didn't like it. Naturally, I was a little hesitant but I really enjoy this! Definitely a lighter moisturizer. I like to use it after the shower if I know I have to run out the door because it doesn't leave a sticky residue like other, thicker moisturizers.  It has a floral scent; not too over-powering, very natural. I really like the packaging too, it feels luxurious and sturdy — it's something I want to have on display on my bathroom counter if you're catching my drift. 

I want to try more of their products - esp the shave pillow. They seem to have innovative, dual-use products in the body-care category. Excited to keep following Hanni! 

i was so excited to try hanni ...  i was dreaming of the hydration my skin would have & how silky smooth it would feel & look...  the ingredients led me to believe that the scent would be natural... like a light coconut or shea butter vibe. unfortunately i will never know how all of the actual products feel on my skin as the scent is something i cannot get past. it smells of extremely cheap & horrid perfume. it's a shame as the idea of this line had me going for a while. it's not something i would use... i don't understand companies that use fragrance in their products... it just ruins the whole experience. i like to be in control of my own fragrance and how much and when i use it. hydrating my body should be a ritual  experience not a olfactory nightmare. i did use the solid body moisturizer - it's in a twist container like a luxury deodorant would be... the product doesnt have a scent but the feeling of the moisturizer on my skin was almost itchy , but not, and just left me feeling dirty. the body wash solid smells like hotel soaps. sorry i'm not interested in this one. 

I really liked the consistency of the product on my skin when I used it in the shower. Def would recommend to a friend or family. 

Love Hannis mission and the idea of making skincare easy esp for lazy girls like me. I like the products but I dont love the strong fragrance. I wish they would make these same products fragrance free!

It's a bit steep at $24, and I don't know how long it lasts/how many shaves I can get out of the product. If it lasts 2-3 months with weekly use, I'd say it's worth it!

I bought the hanni shave pillow for a trip to Mexico. I'm lazy and don't always want to jump in the shower to shave, so I was really excited to find a product that could help me shave dry! It works well, and I haven't had any ingrown hairs or irritation. I also think the twist design is smart to access more of the product. The gel stick is also very moisturizing, which makes the dry shaving even better.

I have never heard of the brand hanni and was excited when I saw it on Thingtesting. I purchased the Water Balm and was a little skeptical, to be honest. I am Black and couldn't imagine using a water-based product to moisturize my dry skin. But I tried it today and so far, so good. The packaging is really minimal, but nice and the bottle is stunning. It feels like a luxe product. 

Some people have said the application is a bit tricky, but I found it easy to use. There was no residue left behind and it was easy to rub into my skin. The only thing I will say is on the website, they say it has a subtle fragrance, but the smell (in my opinion) is pretty strong. I wasn't expecting that and don't love it, but other than that, I am excited to see the results after consistent use. 

I received the Hanni Water Balm from a Thingdrop and absolutely love the light, fresh scent! It’s super easy to apply and dries much quicker than a lotion. It’s a good summer weight moisturizer, but might not be deeply hydrating enough for the winter. It also seems like you need to use quite a lot of product to get full, all over moisture so I worry that it will run out soon. Overall a great produce though!

I love love this scent first of all! So delicious. The packaging is also a huge plus. Love to glass bottle (less plastic!!) and the shape and design is very aesthetic. I am 50/50 on the actual product. It leaves a little bit of a stickiness that I don't love. I have to really rub it in for that to go away which almost defeats the purpose of a spray moisturizer. All in all, I would be curious to try other products of theirs!

UPDATE- I ended up trying the Shower Salve as well and I like this product. Again smells amazing (same scent I believe) and it literally feels like butter on your skin. I can tell it really helps to lock in the moisture as I get out of the shower. 

I love the water balm! I have been using it multiple times a day since I got it. It’s so easy to use and dries down quickly without leaving any stickiness or residue on the skin. The scent is neutral enough that I can pair it with any other scent products without clashing and best of all the product truly is moisturizing/hydrating. I love it so much that I want a leakproof mini version for travel so I can use it everywhere I go. 

Hanni is a really cool brand that offers quality shaving products. Their weighted razor is the type that you fill and refill with new razors and has kind of an old school style. They've got a seriously great product called Shave Pillow that you can rub on your skin and shave anywhere without the need for water, which is really convenient! They've got a Shave Scarf, which is a long fabric in the shape of a scarf, but it's made of a loofah type material. It's great for exfoliating before you apply your Shave Butter and use your razor. You can even grab a cute and durable travel pouch. It's a high quality bag that will hold all of your hanni products, and you can hang it right in your shower with the attached hook. Everything is really well made, and I totally recommend trying out hanni when you next shop for shaving products.
