  • Inclusive sizing and diverse models

  • Supportive, comfortable sports bras
  • Rich, stylish seasonal colors
  • Inconsistent, confusing sizing
  • Thick, less breathable fabric
  • Leggings sliding or stretching

Girlfriend Collective earns largely positive reviews for durable, size‑inclusive activewear with rich colors, supportive Paloma and Tommy bras, and long‑lasting OG/compressive leggings; many say the brand is good and pieces hold up for years. Reviews also flag weaknesses: inconsistent sizing, leggings that can run thick, slide down, or pill/lose shape over time, variable quality across lines, and some styles lacking breathability or support.

  • I have one Juliette bra, and I love it! I'm looking forward to trying other styles and other clothing!

  • I was hopeful these could replace my lulu since the branding and mission is so compelling and beautiful. However, the quality falls short for me. I have a slight sensory thing and found the way the clothes cling to my body really annoying. The pants lack some stretch and inhibited mobility. The bra top felt like a nice thick material, but I found it to be suffocating. The colors are really beautiful though. These are a pass for me :(

  • I tried a pair of high-rise compression leggings and was in love with the buttery feeling of the material. The compression was nicely snug and comfortable to move around in. I would like to see this brand make a version of this legging with a side leg pocket for easier access to my card or phone, but overall I have no complaints. Definitely plan to order another pair!

  • Super confortável

  • Great sustainability. I’ve had mine for years and biked 50kms around it in a day. Felt supported every km along the way

  • The compressive leggings hug you in all the right places. However they do stretch out after frequent use.

  • Buttery smooth leggings make you feel comfortable yet stylish!

  • great quality. beware sizing runs a little smaller than other brands.

  • Such soft and high quality leggings I love them so much!!

  • As a size 20-22 2x-3x (depending on the day) I looooove the size inclusivity of Girlfriend Collective. They are the best bike shorts I’ve ever had and I would wear them all the time if dress codes and winter didn’t exist.

  • High quality athletic clothes that come with a little less environmental guilt. The leggings have held up for years. The bras are good for medium-impact activity, at best, but the compression leggings have been a treat to run in. Their underwear is actually seamless. Their socks and scrunchies are a nice extra.

  • I’ve been using girlfriends since they’re product launch when they were giving away a free pair of leggings. Almost 10 years later those leggings are still in top condition and since then have bought sports bras, coats and more leggings. Love this brand so much!

  • I LOVE their compressive pocket leggings and workout tank tops. I've had several pairs of their leggings for 4+ years and they've held up great and don't show any sweat. Their tank tops are very cute and I wear them for working out and just when going out with friends.

  • Love this company. I have their black high-waisted leggings made from recycled water bottles. Material is soft and comfortable, and perfect for working out or errands. Would recommend!

  • The best support team around! Also, love their mission and that they are actually sustainable, not just greenwashing. Their colorways are really pretty, and love that they do limited drops so they feel unique.

  • Girlfriend collective is one of the only workout brands I buy now. Love their leggings and bras and recently discovered their sweats too.

  • I've had several pairs over the years. They're very comfortable and hold their compression for a while. I like that they're trying to be sustainable and I like the color options. I love the original with pocket options. I'm not a fan of the bras, they don't fit my body so well. However, I am trying to use less synthetic clothing, so I probably won't be purchasing anymore. I am looking at merino wool leggings currently.

  • Great mission, high transparency, inclusive models, and that's before I even get to the product! I have been a fan of GC since their inception and still have the first pair of leggings I got - for someone with thick thighs, their durability is impressive and they aren't at all see through. They have great taste in colors, and I always get asked where my GC stuff is from.

  • Love the the sustainability effort but bras ran super small, in my opinion.

  • I will continue to recommend this brand until I am proven otherwise. Although I wish they had more curvy friendly options (larger hip to waist difference), their products last and are stylish. Even better, are eco-friendly and trying to recycle plastic. However let's talk about what it takes to 'recycle' plastic. It's not pollution-free, do your research, it's hard in this world to have pollution free anything.
