I was genuinely surprised by how long this deodorant lasts—it kept me fresh for a full 24 hours. The fragrances are beautiful, and the sleek, stylish packaging is a bonus. I’ve struggled to find a good roll-on deodorant, but this brand really impressed me
Packaging is definitely 5 out of 5! The product itself is good, but not perfect. If you prefer stronger scents, you want to look elsewhere.
My poor armpits have suffered through many a natural deodorant in the past 5 years. I have tried everything, from Malin & Goetz's famous stick to homemade attempts, and am constantly left wanting a better experience. And so, it is to my own disbelief, that here I am awarding a natural deodorant 5 stars. Truth be told, I'd give it 4.5 if I could because there are some things that need improving, but honestly, Fussy has been my favorite natural deodorant attempt yet. Naively, I haven't dug into the ingredients as much as I should have, so I can't speak to that side of things, but from a standard consumer experience, it's been great. The packaging and branding are great (you can tell they worked with top notch talent), I love the refill concept, and the deodorant not only doesn't gross me out but it keeps me feeling pretty fresh for most of the day. (As an important caveat, I am not a massive sweater, so I don't know how it would hold up for people who really make their deodorant work for it). Price point is great as well. All in all, this may just be the first natural deodorant I actually purchase again.
Feedback
The only reason I would deduct half a star is because I travel a bit and often bring my deodorant with me, and often times when I go to use the stick after it's been jostled around in my bag a bit, the deodorant will come flying out. Then I have to pick it up and clean it off and put it back in but it will have some kind of dent in it from whatever surface it whacked and is just generally an experience I don't enjoy. I don't know if there is a way to make the refills more secure, but I'd be super appreciative and give them their half star back! Also, based on the images, I expected more of a matte texture to the dispenser, but it's just pretty standard hard plastic. I don't know how easy it would be to do, but I feel like they could really level things up if they created more of a matte textured packaging.
