The Filterbaby Diamond Series shower filter has exceeded my expectations. For one, it’s cute. It’s hard to find quality, cute products that are actually functional. This has all of that in one. Two, it was incredibly easy to install. Inside the packaging is a pamphlet with a QR code for a one-minute video on how to install the filter. You literally can’t mess it up. Three, it didn’t affect my water pressure! The video also tells you how to remedy the water pressure issue if it does for you. I have had this installed on my shower for a week now. I haven’t had any issues with it leaking or the water pressure. It did make my shower head a bit lower, but I’m 5’2” so it doesn’t matter much for me. My hair does seem a bit less frizzy than it typically is. I have a wavy lion mane for hair, and anything that helps decrease the frizz at all is welcome. My skin also doesn’t feel as tight and dry once I’m out of the shower. So far, my experience with all of this has been a win, and I will be recommending this to anyone who needs a shower filter!

Not only does this filter works, it looks so chic in my shower. I am a little bit picky when it comes to investing in something like this so I am glad that it matches my shower well and doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb. The filter does actually work, and I do notice a pretty big difference in my hair texture tool. It makes it much more shinier and softer and it DOES give me piece of mind that it also filters out microplastics as well. Especially since i brush and wash my face in the shower. I have tried the diamond series filter as well and do feel like they both work the same for making my hair soft, but this filter does remove more things that may not be as noticeable.

It was pretty easy to install and it came with a variety of adapters to fit any type of sink! I took me just a couple minutes to do so and then I was able to use it right away. I have noticed a change in my skin now with the filtered water, it doesn't dry it out like the unfiltered water does. This was my skin after a couple days of using the water to clean my face! Not dry compared to the unfiltered water.

This is my first time installing anything for the shower and it was surprisingly easy and smooth! The video instructions in the QR code was helpful, but I wish it showed how to use the plumbers tape (I figured it out though). Luckily no leaks and everything works with our shower head. You can see the water stains on my shampoo bottles from before I had a filter on the shower head. It’s been a little over a week since my sisters and I have been showering with the filter. It’s honestly been a factor of softer water and my sister has an easier time feeling less weight in her hair. I’ve had less breakage while detangling and drying my hair. I usually break out around my shoulders but I’ve had less breakouts. We have more peace of mind knowing that our water is going through a filter. I look forward to keeping up with it!
