  • I have been a long time customer, but you have no way of talking to a real person to straighten out a issue with an order. I have called every phone number they have and never got to talk to a real person, and never got my issue resolved. Once they take your money they could care less if they fulfill their part of the deal. Do not buy these products because they take your money, but dont deliver the products you have payed for.

    Can never talk to an actual person about issues with an order. They just keep rerouting you from one web page to another web page but never actually help you with the problem. once you have filled out all the boxes on the page there is not a send or submit button to send your message to the customer service. Basically they have NO customer service. PERIOD

  • Overall the premise it good and convenient while also being cost effective. As someone who shaves their head and beard consistently I think its a good value.

    Inconsistent blades, some hyper sharp others bent or dull... kind of a bummer but overall the value trumps the inconsistency

  • Customer service is non-existent. Their website has been down for weeks and it is impossible to contact anyone or sign in. The handles which are cheap and flimsy are poorly made and break every so often, rendering the blades that you have purchased useless. When I tried to contact the Company to order another one, I got the robo-chat runaround with no solution. Yet they will probably keep sending me blades anyway.

  • I’ve used Dollar Shave Club for 8 years and have loved it. There was some delays in shipments in 2020 for obvious reasons and I had to use another companies razor for a tiny bit. (DSC wasn’t available at Target at the time.) The company that shall remain unnamed SUCKED. The DSC 6 blade is where it’s at for me. I don’t have to think about buying razor blades since the show up at my door once a month. It’s a no frills or cutesy colors but gets the job done with no irritation.

    I would consider purchasing their shave cream in addition to their razor if it can in a larger bottle. I’m female and I’m shaving a larger portion of my body than a guy and it’s just not economical.

  • Used to be great. Then they changed the razor handle and the blades. Now blades continue to fall out of handle after one use. Then they cut the shave butter size in half. Not impressed !!

    The new handle / blade combination is crap. Blades are great if they would stay in the handle. Changing the size of the shave butter without any notification is a bit on the bait and switch side.

  • Dull blades or bad razor angle. If you have thick or a lot of hair, this razor may not be for you. I found that if I shaved every day, there isn’t much of a problem with these razors. If I skipped a day, then prepare for a slow shave because it would pluck and pull. The subscription is convenient, I don’t have to worry about not having a razor on hand.

  • I have been using Dollar Shave Club since 2018. I was tired of borrowing my husband's razor, which seemed to provide a superior shave to the "lady razors" sold at major retailers. In addition, I wanted a non-disposable razor. When I started they didn't have as many subscription management options, so I was swimming in razor blades and had to put it on hold for a couple of years to catch up. Recently, I had retried the lady razors and again didn't like them. So, I wanted to go back to my Dollar Shave Club razor. However, in a move it had been packed away and so I ordered a new one. They have so many more selections now and so many other products, like a shower hanger that adheres with a suction cup. Very useful! I'm glad that people have come to realize the value and that the company has grown. I use the six blade version and it really does give the best shave without having to go over the same area over and over again the way I had to with the lady razors. Also they give you more options to manage your blade subscriptions now, so I should be able to get replacements more in line with my usage. I'm excited to be back in the Club!

    I noticed that when I clicked on their link from this website I saw all the new products. When I logged in with my login created from 2018, I could no longer see many of the new products and only the original razor and blade models. I found that to be frustrating and dumb. If I had not put the new razor that looked so much cooler than my old model in my cart before I logged in. I wouldn't have even been able to find it again. They need to rethink that strategy.
