Diptyque wins praise in reviews for nuanced, transportive scents and elegant packaging, confirming the brand is good at delivering long-lasting, room-filling candles and sophisticated fragrances like Baies, Feu de Bois, Do Son, Philosykos, and Tam Dao. However, reviewers note inconsistent candle throw and tunneling, occasional defective or “burnt” scents, some perfumes with middling longevity, and an overwhelming in-store scent environment—making it stellar for gifting but less reliable for uniform performance.

Diptyque is forever my favorite fragrance brand. Every single one of their scents is so multi-layered and yummy. It's worth the money and the best place to find your signature scent, if that's your vibe.
Doson is my favorite scent! It's floral but light. It can be strong when sprayed but it dissipates nicely so I don't think it's overwhelming. However the scent is not for everyone - I personally love the smell but some have noted it's not their favorite.
My absolute favorite fragrance. I have the scent Doson, Tam Dao, and Fleur de Peau and all three are so different. One thing I noticed about Dyptique fragrances is that its a lot stronger and more "floral" than most frangrances. All the scents are very strong and powerful. They last fairly long compared to other fragrances in my opinion! I've used Doson for over 3 years now and It takes me about a little less than one year to use up one bottle.
Received a Diptyque candle from a friend and it feels so luxurious. Even when it's not ignited, it still has a lingering scent and makes the house feel clean and serene. Personally, wouldn't be buying for myself because it's on the expensive side but I truly love their range of scents. I'd love to get my hands on their solid perfume though, I've heard great reviews about it.

The feu de bois scent is not one I’ve been able to replicate elsewhere. It is luxury in a candle. The cost however is prohibitively expensive and my candle was inherited from a friend.

I've been shopping at their Prince Street location for close to 10 years. I love their products and personal service. I have spent thousands of dollars in all. But lately, with the manager, the service has gone the opposite. I will only go in, if the salesperson, Matteo is working cause, the service is soppy compared to how it was before this new manager arrived. I've been in retail customer service for over 40 years. This new manager should be re-trained in how to handle "high-end" products. Her management skills are made more toward a "Dollar Store" disposition as well as her attitude as a manager. I will be shopping elsewhere because of this. Especially when I'm spending thousands of dollars per month. My advice to future shoppers...Go to another location other than the Prince Street location to get the full high-end service you deserve. This manager has to go.

Horrible. Scents, after 2 hours, turn stinky, like you wallowed in rotting brusel sprouts. Return? Not what they represent. I brought back perfume gift in original, unopened package, in perfect condition. No credit. Only exchange for more expensive goods. Ridiculous. Nikki in main US office emailed me that a manager would get back to me. Didn't happen Bad Nikki - she should be fired. Bad perfume. Bad candles, Bad employees Date of experience: November 30, 2023

Quality fragrance, also very unique, unlike most other fragrances available out there/ Great quality and aesthetic as well
Unfortunately I'm going back to the store and return the two candles I bought yesterday. Genevrie barely smells when burns and Cypres has no smell at all when burns. Very very very disappointed. Old stock? Faulty stock? Luxury? Let them burn this both candles at their Notting hill shop that's what I say and give me new better smelling product as what Diptique used to be known for. When I usually buy candles from diptique the aroma appears from my flat to the common areas on both floors. It's strong and powerful smell. But yesterday's purchased candeles at Notting Hill shop in London were not smelling as a luxurious product even a small room I had them in didn't smell properly. Yesterday shopping experience was confusing and unglamorous too. Number 34 candle was on display but was not available for purchase as they say run out of stock!. Basil and something else candle which is designed to take a bad smell away was also not available to purchase but was displayed at the store. What's going on? 4 assistants per shop can't organise the flawless experience? Overall experience is negativev so far as the shop took my candles that I burn last night and this morning for about 1.5 hours each (just to give a good trial at home before heading back to their shop) for an investigation to head office. So I have paid lots of money per candel went to buy them, went back to return, was upset all night long with underwhelming experience and they are taking both candles for investigation? Leaving me nice and dry. On the receipt in small print it says no exchanges or refunds after opening the product. What? There is no words about product might be faulty. Luxury product is definitely faulty but the customer's purchase get investigated first! Leaving me seriously upset, disappointed and confused. After spending all that 💰 Will update you guys on the outcome of my ordeal with diptique head quarters which they claim will be within a few days and not on the weekend. Well I will take my sweet time to write this weekend reviewers that's for sure.
