Danessa Myricks Beauty reviews and discussion

So far these products have been so so. I don’t know that I would recommend but I don’t know that I wouldn’t. If that makes sense at all. I guess I’m unsure about whether I like it. It doesn’t do any harm to the skin. I just can’t really tell if it’s making my skin less oily or keeping my makeup in place.

I’ve been using the Danessa Myricks Beauty Colorfix in the shade Chocolate, and honestly it’s such a versatile product. The color is this rich, deep brown with just enough warmth that it looks amazing on the eyes for a sultry smoky look, or even sheered out for more of a soft, diffused vibe. On the lips, it gives that 90s brown lip moment, and I like how I can control the intensity. You can use just a little and blend it out or go full pigment. It has a slightly tacky dry down at first, but once it sets, it doesn’t budge. I like that the Colorfix Matte lasts, no smearing, no fading, even after hours. I will say, because it sets quickly, you have to work fast with it, especially on the eyes. It’s not super forgiving if you over-blend or try to move it around after it’s dried. But that staying power is kind of the point. I didn’t notice any irritation on my skin or lips, and a little goes a long way, so the tube will last forever. More of a pro-type product, but it’s fun to play with once you get the hang of it.

The technology of the blur balms is genius. It blurs perfectly without making skin looks super dry or matte. As of the glowy primer, it’s very serum-like and has a glowy but natural finish on the skin, rather than oily.

The technology behind the products engineered is amazing. I haven’t used a product like Danessa Myricks’ ever! I purchased the balm primer and it delivered wear, long duration for my makeup and a satin finish to my makeup. Wonderful.

The Danessa Myricks brand is one of the most innovative, spectacular, well-rounded makeup brands I've ever used! Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before.... All the products I've used so far are phenomenal! The ColorFix line is the first product I tried and was so amazed I had to go back and buy all the primary colors. They are waterproof, pigmented, multi-use, and last all day. ( You need to use oil to get them off) I love how versatile the line is. The next product I tried was the Yummy Skin Foundation. It's a medium-coverage foundation that is very glowy and hydrating which is great for anyone with dry skin. I love how natural it is.. and with a few tweaks, I can make it more matte. "Fo sho you right on! TEN!!!", as Keith Lee would say. It's cool how the packaging for refills is eco-friendly. There are so many other products I would love to try from this brand but from my first order from the DMB website, they included so many samples that left a great impression on me.

I tried the Danessa MYRICKS Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Blush in ‘Golden hour’ absolutely looove it. It is the most beautiful black girl friendly blush I’ve tried yet! It’s has a balm like texture that dries to powdery consistency when applied. Love how you can use this lightly as an everyday blush or build up the coverage to make it more glam. The colour pigments last all day so be rest assured you would have that radiant glow all through😊

Such a high quality brand . The innovation is there and the products perform beautifully. It’s a professional line for sure
