Clif Bar earns largely positive reviews for dependable energy on the go, with Bloks praised for marathon and hiking fuel and Z Bars lauded as tasty, filling kid-friendly snacks; however, frequent mentions of high sweetness, seed oils/fillers, and occasionally polarizing flavors temper enthusiasm. Reviews note chewy-but-manageable textures, strong flavor variety across Clif, Bloks, Builder’s, and Luna lines, and convenient portability, while critiques include sticky Z Bars for toddlers and tough packaging to tear.
I like to keep a bar in my bag for times when im running around and just need alittle snack. Whilst i do like the taste of Clif Bars i find they have too much added sugar for my liking. With all the options out there i just feel like you can find healthier alternatives.
Clif Bar Bloks are energy chews my son uses for marathons. Salt and energy with little volume in the stomach! They do the job and are organic. I’m not sure why this company continues to use sunflower oil claiming they care so very much about health. Otherwise good!
I’ve been buying Z Bars by Cliff for several years now. I love to pack them in my daughter’s lunch or have them for her as a quick snack. They are a good source of fiber and whole grain and keep her full in between meals and sports.
The Z Bar by Clif Bars are pretty sticky for small toddlers. I like the small package sizes and how the bars are easy to tear and consume on the go. The packaging is too hard for my 5-year-old to tear on her own so thinner plastic wrap would be more ideal. The ingredients are also decent considering the sugar content is lower than other bars.
