Great Concept, and I mostly liked the flavor of the butter. However, I really struggled to find the right foods to pair it with. The only thing that I ever was able to get it to work with was on top of some toasted bread to make little croutons. You would think it would work on top of vegetables, but I found that I did not. There’s a bit of a strange aftertaste. 

I tried these at Costco when they were sampling. The cinnamon sugar was my favorite but I ended up buying the garlic & shallot because I thought it would be more versatile. Haven't used it very much, to be honest, although it does taste good!

I really liked the butter. It was very flavorful and goes well with just about everything: eggs, toast, etc!

Churn Butter's commitment to using grass-fed ingredients results in a rich and delightful flavor profile that sets it apart. The variety of flavors is a culinary adventure. However, the premium price point is a drawback, leading me to give it four stars. Exceptional taste, but affordability could enhance the overall appeal.

Best on toast! or paired with a "blank canvas" food. I find that the flavors get lost, instead of amplified, when added to recipes with redundant ingredients. They're a convenient alternative to making my own compound butters.

The short shelf life prevents me from buying ahead, so I really only pick up on a whim. 

I love a good butter. These are delicious. However, they're expensive! Not sure I would order again. 

Honestly, the only drawbacks for me are availability and price.  For now, it looks like you can only buy Churn in-store in California and Texas, so for the rest of us that means ordering online.  The Churn website is well-designed and user-friendly, so ordering is super easy, but unless you spend $50 or take advantage of a holiday promo code, like I did, shipping will run you $10.  The 5.5 fl oz tubs aren't super cheap, but for the quality, convenience, and experience (delicious compound butters you don't need to make yourself! what!), I think the price point is totally reasonable.

These butters are real kitchen workhorses that will also totally elevate your home cooking.  Easy, attainable, delicious everyday indulgences.  

I recently ordered a sampler of Churn's delicious compound butters.  They come in a range of interesting and versatile flavors, from truffle (my favorite) to miso to their single sweet offering, maple cinnamon.  Churn makes European-style butter, which is especially rich, creamy, and flavorful, and I love that they only use grass-fed milk.  You can absolutely taste the difference.  

So far, I've made one heck of a gourmet grilled cheese using the truffle butter, elevated my morning scrambled eggs with garlic and shallot butter, and managed the easiest, tastiest cacio e pepe spaghetti with (what else?) the cacio e pepe butter and some Parmesan.  I have yet to cook with the pesto and miso butters, but I've tasted both and can confirm that they are basically good enough to eat right out of the container.  Highly, highly recommended.
