    Absolutely in love with my mules! The leather is beautifully soft and high-quality, and they’re incredibly comfortable with perfect cushioning — I can walk in them all day, every day, since I got them. They’re the ideal in-between shoe for late summer: effortlessly elegant yet perfectly relaxed. By far my favorite pair of shoes!

    The brown Vaada boots are my first purchase from Chalo and they definitely won’t be my last! The boots are so comfortable and beautiful, and you can see the care and attention to detail with which they were made. The boots are unique, and so is the business. Maybe even more importantly for me, the customer service and the company values make me want to continue supporting this awesome small business.

    I am the proud owner of two pairs of Chalo boots which are the most beautiful and functional shoes in my wardrobe. I have paired them with everything from jeans to formal wear and they are always the perfect complement, very comfortable (have danced and run down more than a few streets in them) and always generate the question: Where did you get those gorgeous boots? The customer service has been one of the best experiences I’ve had and it is a joy to get to support a small business with an owner who so clearly understands the importance of a timeless product with exceptional quality as well as what her customers want.

    I have the classic cowboy. I love that its a cowboy boot with a city flair in that its pretty sleep in how its designed. They fit amazing - and that's very cool for me because I have kind of wide feet and what I like to call athletic calves. I even wore them to the Eras Tour and spent all 4.5 hours (including the Paramore set) shaking it off in them (I *did* put in a heel cushion though because I knew that it was going to be a long evening on my feet). Definitely my go-to boot.

Chalo is a responsible footwear brand—we make small-batch, beautiful, fun, and go-to leather footwear. We work with our family-owned tannery and factory which has specialized in leather work for over 25 years, tans its own leathers, and supports our small-batch collections. We’ll soon be expanding into leather footwear for newborns and toddlers, as well as accessories for women. Our tannery and factory are LWG and ISO certified.
