  • Poor quality Khaki fabric-discolored and aged badly in less that 10 months with minimal usage. Poor technical support and absolutely zero brand accountability. Has no support beyond 30 days even if they endorse high-quality materials. Would NEVER buy again. Definitely NOT value for the price point. The absolute WORST.

  • I currently have a Henley and 2 cardigans. I exchanged 2 pieces (paid the extra few bucks for free returns and ship protection luckily) and quickly got the exchanged items in a couple of weeks. I am ordered 2 more of their wool pieces, and am very pleased with the quality of them and packaging also. I didn’t like the cotton trench coat 🧥, it gave a made in china compared to the knitwear and shirts. But am very happy with my purchases and experience so far. Can’t say anything about jackets and denim and pants.

  • I just got my first piece from California Arts and I don't think I've ever been complimented so much on my clothing. The shirt I got has the perfect oversized cut that's was really easy to style and not intimidating at all. I feel like California Arts is making modern men's fashion way more accessible without sacrificing quality. I will definitely be buying from Cal Arts again.

They're a new business so they only have a few pieces right now. Excited to see them grow their offering with different colors and styles.

  • I really wanted to love this brand. The designs are beautiful, the overall aesthetic feels premium, and I was genuinely excited when my first order arrived — a coat worth over €330. Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service completely ruined the impression. When I reached out about a €17 return shipping fee, I wasn’t demanding anything unreasonable — just a gesture of goodwill for a first-time customer. The response I received was a flat “it’s our policy,” with no effort to understand the situation or show flexibility. Policies exist for a reason, but good brands know when to make exceptions to retain loyal customers. For me, this small refusal said everything about their mindset: rigid, transactional, and lacking a sense of genuine customer care. The coat has already been returned to the U.S., and I won’t be ordering again. A shame really — both my partner and I (he’s a large European influencer who had discovered the brand) were ready to invest in several more pieces. But after this experience, I can’t recommend California Arts to anyone who values service and customer respect as much as design.

  • I wanted to like this brand, but the customer service experience was disappointing. I ordered several items and loved most of them, especially the Coronado Split-Hem Cargo Pants in Dune. They fit a little smaller than expected, but I made it work — until I washed them (exactly as instructed). The pants shrank 2–3 inches, which made them unwearable for me as someone tall. When I contacted customer service, it took nearly a week to get a reply, and the answer was simply that “shrinkage is expected” and I should wear them to stretch them back out (how do you stretch pant legs down?). After I explained that the length loss was too severe and wearing them wouldn't stretch them out, it took another week for them to reply with the same answer — and they also let me know it was past the return/exchange window. I really liked these pants and wish the brand had offered a replacement.

  • I'd been eyeing Carb since I saw them in the newsletter when they first launched. I finally pulled the trigger this Christmas and received the mohair cardigan and Larchmont oversized overshirt. I am obsessed! The quality is incredible, and I have received more compliments on the cardigan than I could have imagined. The cuts are timeless yet elevated, and the attention to detail regarding collar sizes, fabrics, and oversized fit, is spot-on. I recently bought the wide-legged trousers for an upcoming trip and bought a few sizes too large. I was bummed because I knew I had to return them, but I was desperate to see what I could do about securing another pair before I left. I realized that the fulfillment center was near where I live and ended up messaging Carb on IG asking if there was any chance that I could go to the fulfillment center in person and make the exchange. Gary, the founder, was quick to message me back and said he'd be there the next day and would be happy to meet me in person to give me the new pair, A++, for customer service!
