The customer service for Something Special has been a little hit or miss at times in terms of their response times and delivering packages that were damaged. 

I bought a pair of shoes during a sample sale but have been experiencing their products primarily through their Something Special program. It is such a great and accessible way to discover craftsman from all over the world and at $30 a month it is nice to add things that will add some decor. 

No complaints! It’s really a great program. Sometimes they don’t ship on time because of logistics and shipping delays in this Covid era. But it’s nothing Brother Vellies has control of! 

I have a Something Special subscription and it’s the only one I’ll never get rid of. Artisans from all over the world create pieces for the monthly program and it truly feels special . I love knowing that this is helping artisans all over. 

It's been a few years since I purchased a pair of Brother Vellies so this may have since been resolved, but because the shoes are handmade, sizing can be inconsistent. I purchased my shoes at their store and was able to mix and match from different pairs to find a set that fit me best, but that's not an option when shopping online.

The quality is evident, and I love how many of their shoes are really distinct.

I really love their cloud socks. Super comfy. They are one of my favorite things to gift and everyone who receives them loves it.
