Reviews mention

  • Crisp, cooling percale comfort
  • Softening, luxurious sateen finish
  • Plush, guest-pleasing towels
  • Thoughtful, convenient sheet labeling
  • Inconsistent fabric durability
  • Fragile duvet button closures
  • Occasional discoloration and staining
  • Linty, shedding linen material

Brooklinen earns mixed reviews: many praise the sheets (especially Classic Percale and Luxe Sateen) for crisp, cool comfort that softens with washing and improves sleep, plus standout towels, pillows, and down comforters. However, reviews also flag durability issues—tears at seams, thinning, discoloration, lint/shedding, and flimsy duvet buttons—along with stiff break‑in for percale and limited style options; buyers seeking long-term robustness may want to weigh these trade-offs.

  • I was very much infuenced by youtube to get sheets, however ended up buying my duvet and one for my parents. Love it. Nothing special but it does it job wonderfully. They love how easy it is to buy on their webpage and constantly have sales.

Item quality is really nice and their products seem long-lasting. The down-alternative duvet has not given me any allergies and keeps my temperature overnight.

  • we got the linen duvet cover for our guest bedroom and people love to rave about how comfy it is to sleep in! It's breathable, cooling but also cozy. Plus, it's so cute!

  • Their sheets are great for hot sleepers and are so comfortable. Love the tote bag that comes with their orders too.

  • like with many other dtc brands these days, i kind of feel like the product has gone down hill. - linen duvet: i understand that there is a certain level of shed with linen bedclothes but WOW is this shed-y. hoping that it completely goes away with a few more washes, but given the price i paid for this you'd think it would come pre-washed or de-linted? idk. - silk pillowcases: i currently have two queen sized ones which i really love. i recently ordered king sized ones of the same color, etc. because im upgrading (Wwoo!) and the quality feels a bit... amazon-y...

i want to love you but i want you be better.

  • Bought a complete bedding set last year and within 3 washes the color had drastically faded, which was such a bummer! Our top sheet also tipped about a month ago when we were making the bed. They are super comfy and felt “luxurious” when we first got them, but don’t think I’ll be ordering another set.

With the color fading and the rip within the first 10 months of having these sheets, I don’t think we’ll be ordering again. I tried returning since they say 365 day return window, but got a pop up that someone from support would be in touch and never heard anything.

  • not the cheapest and they didn’t seem to stand up to wear very well. ripped easily and also it didn’t take long to get discoloured. they are super soft enough and we loved the feel of them.

  • My Brooklinen sheets are my favorite sheets in my rotation. A bit of a splurge compared to a sheet set that you would get from a department store, but absolutely worth it. They are so comfortable and hold up after multiple washes.

Would be great if there are more print variations.

  • Really enjoy the feel and texture of these sheets as well as their weight. Color was on point.

Our sheet tore pretty quickly at one of the seams with just natural wear. Not sure it's worth the price.

  • I'm on the fence! I have the cotton sheet set, and they do feel great on the skin and I love how the fabric lays. However the pricepoint is quite high for sheets that feel so thin. I'm not sure if I would re-purchase, but I'm definitely enjoying them now. I would recommend with the caveat that they might not last as long as you'd hope!

  • To be honest, their sheets are a little overhyped. They're nice quality-- absolutely! But there are certainly comparable options elsewhere for a fraction of the price. I'm a fan of their clean design and patterns!

    Price point, longevity of product.

  • A little overhyped, I feel neutral on them. Got sheets/quilt from them and they were fine, but took about a year to stop being kind of stiff and scratchy. Friends have had good experiences, but I wouldn't repurchase – nothing that stood out to me vs. a cheaper option.

  • Purchased their bedsheets, which felt thinner than expected and actually tore after a few months which they would not refund. Definitely still quality sheets but not what I had hoped for.

  • I bought these sheets after all the hype. They’re just okay. I would rather spend money on Target sheets. But the great thing is they label the sides

    The softness of the sheets

  • Save yourself the money; you can get better quality textiles at target. I purchased a sheet set and duvet cover from them. I inspected the seams when they arrived, and found a bunch of spots with really shoddy sewing. I sent their customer service some close-ups and they sent me a new set, but those were the exact same. Craftsmanship aside, I got the percale sheets and they are paper thin and crinkly. They've stayed that way for years now, and they discolor easily. I actually have sheets from target that have held up better. I have a few family members that have bought robes from them, which I think are better quality, but I would never get their bedding again.

A lot. Not to be a cynic, but I honestly feel like they are counting on an audience of younger people who don't really have a feel for what "nice" bedding is. It feels really shady to me. I don't think they're charging a fair price for these goods, I think they're taking advantage of people who are coming into adulthood.

  • I got my comforter and duvet from here and really like it. The only thing that annoys me a bit is that the top of the duvet slips down a bit in the cover. But honestly could be my own problem and I just need to shake it out. I still like it!

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE; everything is solid quality and very comfortable

wish they had a few more SKUS on bedding

  • I've had Brooklinen sheets for YEARS. After about 5 years I just finally needed or replace the sheets but my pillow cases and duvet cover are still holding strong. The sheets are so soft and cozy and every time I have a slumber party, people comment on how cozy my bed is. Absolutely love and a great deal for the price.

  • The Luxe Sateen Duvet Cover is becoming a staple purchase. Gets the job done. I'd like to know if there's a better value option out there that's in par with this luxe sateen sheets

  • Recently purchased a textured duvet cover for a quilt (also from Brooklinen). After three months the threads are pulling out all over the place. This is with normal usage. I suppose if no one ever say in the bed the cover would look fine.... The quilt is their synthetic fill comforter that's a substitute for down. The fill is clumped in each compartment. Paid up for this brand and clearly some quality issues. Disappointed.
