BRINGIT is a female founded Public Benefits Corp (BRINGIT Bags PBC) that is passionately focused on eradicating single use and reusable plastic bags. Americans use 100 billion plastic bags a year, which require 12 million barrels of oil to manufacture. We believe the world deserves something better than plastic bags!

We’ve engineered the most sustainable reusable shopping bags on the planet: crafted with fiber made from sustainably harvested beechwood and eucalyptus trees, these are the only bags available on the market made with this innovative material.  They are machine washable (no release of microplastics), marine biodegradable and home compostable at the end of life. 

You are probably thinking that the world doesn’t need another reusable bag.  But these bags are quite literally the most sustainable bags available.  They are better than single use plastic, for obvious reasons.  They are better than reusable plastic bags that end up in the ocean anyway (most consumers don’t realize that those clunky reusables they buy for $0.99 at checkout are made from plastic).  They are also better than cotton, utilizing 90% less water during production.  In fact, our production process is a closed looped system with zero waste. 

Our design team has leveraged decades of experience in the reusable bag space (my cofounder led Wholefoods’ move to reusable bags) to address the sustainability issues around current single use and reusable bag options as well as their fit-for-purpose.

I would like some larger produce bags and an inside pocket for the tote.  

The material is really unique - it’s sort of between cotton and silk.  I love the iTKit because I can fold all the bags and store them inside of the tote.  I hang the tote by my door so I’ll see it when I’m walking out.  It’s a pretty color so it looks good.
