Founder, Dale McCarthy and Creative Director, Natalia Gysbowski are inspired by contemporary Australian style and a passion for excellence. We are a majority female owned and run business based in Sydney. We create elegant, sophisticated swimwear & apparel using only the finest quality, sustainably produced fabrics. Our swimwear is recognised worldwide for its emphasis on pared-back, sleek silhouettes that use our three, technically advanced swim base-cloths that deliver superior performance to optimise look, fit, feel and longevity. We are proud to be stocked around the world by prestigious retailers including Anthropologie, Harvey Nichols Goop, Moda Operandi, Net-a-porter, Neiman Marcus, Nordstom, Revolve We have an ongoing commitment to uncompromising quality, ethics and sustainability. Every fabric is consciously sourced for sustainable certification. Each piece is painstakingly fitted and refitted to perfect its cut. Each trim is hand selected or custom made. Each garment is expertly crafted in limited runs. Our solemn wish is that when our customers wear BONDI BORN it brings them joy, through body confidence, an elevated sense of style and the knowledge that by buying BONDI BORN they are doing what's best for people and planet.
