Reviews mention

  • Weightless sunscreen texture elegance
  • High-protection spf pa++++ performance
  • Hydrating yet matte finish
  • Effective blackhead-extracting pore strips
  • Inconsistent regional sunscreen formulas
  • Painful pore strip removal
  • Over-dispensing sunscreen bottle
  • Unpleasant sunscreen taste migration

Bioré earns strong reviews for its UV Aqua Rich sunscreens, which consistently perform—lightweight, non-sticky, no white cast, high protection, and comfortable under makeup—while pore-care staples like nose strips and charcoal cleansers deliver quick, visible results for many. Reviews also flag drawbacks: U.S. sunscreen formulas underwhelm versus the Japanese version, pore strips can be painful or ineffective for some, one bottle dispenses too much product, and the sunscreen can leave an unpleasant taste if it migrates.

  • As someone who has sensitive skin, I really appreciate how this product has helped my skin so much! The suncreen has been very helpful with creating a skincare routine that leaves my face glowing, protected from the sun and clean afterward!

  • I have tried many different SPF products over the years, ranging from drugstore brands to higher-end brands. For context, I have normal/dry skin, which I feel like most products would work well. I wasn't a fan of the Trader Joe's dupe for supergoop or the e.l.f. Suntouchable glow or the Elta MD tinted sunscreen, or the Eucerin tinted sunscreen, the former two left my skin feeling greasy and latter was not hydrating enough. In comparison, Biore has been the best of both worlds, hydrating without being heavy.

  • Biore makes top-quality skin care products. I like their products for how they help with issues like acne and shine. I like the pore strips for that deep-down clean feeling and the scrubs for daily cleaning.

  • I’m already on my 3rd bottle of Bioré and this one of the BEST SPF I’ve tried. It’s a great lightweight sunscreen and absorbs almost immediately leaving no white cast on. I have dry skin and this SPF feels like it hydrates while protecting my skin. And by protecting means by fully protecting: it’s SPF 50 PA++++! What I like about this product is that gives a matte finish, so it’s great to apply before make up because it works like a primer and helps with oil control too. The formula contains hyaluronic acid, and I can feel right after applying how moisturized my skin feels. One thing I dislike about this product is the bottle, it tends to dispense too much lotion which makes easy to waste SPF. The price is very affordable for all the benefits.

  • I have been using the pore strips from Biore since my teenage years. I have tried alternative brands but honestly Biore is better. I can usually find them on sale at my local target so that’s a plus. They work well and I have no complaints.

  • I know pore strips are the subject of a lot of debate in the derm world. Yeah, maybe they’re not great for your skin barrier and chemical exfoliants are a better long-term solution, but I (disclaimer: not a dermatologist in any way) still find them helpful and satisfying for a quick, occasional deep clean on my nose in a pinch. They work as advertised, and when used sparingly, they’re a convenient way to see immediate results without overdoing it.

  • I do think they adhere very strongly, but for me that was actually part of the issue, they were pretty painful to remove. After going through that discomfort, I didn’t notice much of a visible difference in terms of clearing out pores or improving the look of my skin. I know a lot of people really love these, but they just didn’t deliver the results I was hoping for.

  • I've used Biore for a very long time, beginning with the pore removing nose strips. What I still use is the charcoal face cleanser to battle acne, and it works well. I've also tried the bubbling nose strips, which I'm not super impressed with.

  • These work very well! Easy to apply, not annoying when wearing them, not too painful taking them off. Visibly reduced blackheads and cleaned pores. ave really oily skin and my nose is filled with blackheads!!The white are the best!!

  • This sunscreen feels like water on the skin—so light and refreshing! It gives high protection without any greasiness or white cast. Perfect for hot, humid weather and great under makeup too. So recommended

  • I am so glad that sunscreens are getting better and better every year. I am very picky when it comes to finding a sunscreen that works best for me. The UV Aqua Rich SPF 50 is light weight. It doesn’t leave a white cast and absorbs quickly without looking or feeling sticky. It does not irritate my eyes. The only thing I did notice was no matter what I did I seemed to have the sunscreen get into my mouth and that didn’t taste good.

Received a free product from Bioré
  • So effective n removing blackheads and dirt from pores. The strips are easy to use and provide a satisfying visual when the gunk they've removed is visible. The strips are simple to apply and use, making them a convenient addition to a skincare routine.

  • This sunscreen, SPECIFICALLY THE ASIAN VERSION (THE AMERICAN VERSION SUCKS), is a holy grail of mine. It is waterproof and has super high, verified SPF that has protected my skin so well. Feels like nothing too!

  • Bioré has quality products at a reasonable price. I purchased some sunscreen while in Japan and fell in love with the formula. Unfortunately they’re not offered in the US, and their American versions aren’t nearly as good. If you can pick up the international version I highly recommend. What I picked up stateside is nothing special.

  • I use the Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF 50+ and I just love it! I rebought this after finishing my first tube. The first thing I love avout this product is hat it is amazingly watery and not sticky like normal sunscreens have. You can use it directly on your skin after you wash your face and it acts as a moisturizer and retains your skin softness. You don't get the whiteness like the other sunscreens and it is like a serum that is clear. Highly recommend if you hate the sticky sunscreens.

  • I tried a face wash, it was okay, quite light for a morning cleanse but didn't feel particularly nice to use like other gentle gels (I preferred Eucerin or Neutrogena). Good price though.
