  • Thoughtful compartments and organization
  • Cushioned handle comfort

  • Durable, travel-ready construction
  • Heavy weekender bag ergonomics
  • Scuff-prone light shell finish
  • Occasional zipper and hardware issues
  • Smaller-than-expected interior capacity

BÉIS earns largely positive reviews for sleek, thoughtfully engineered travel gear that works—roomy carry-ons with cushioned handles and built‑in weight indicators, Weekenders with smart shoe compartments, and work totes with practical organization—while recurring complaints cite heaviness (especially Weekenders and totes), scuff‑prone light colors, smaller‑than‑expected interiors on some rollers, and mixed product durability and customer service. For buyers, the brand delivers strong functionality and style, but those sensitive to weight or wear should choose darker shades and consider rolling options over shoulder carry.

  • First, love Shay Mitchel. Second, I have two BEIS products so far and the way that the sustainability and durability of their products withstands going through airports, hitting your bag against the crowds in TSA, and just navigating all things travel brings to the journey just to arrive to your destination is outstanding.

  • I love my weekender bag. It’s the perfect size and fits a good amount of clothes. I especially like the separate compartment on the bottom of the bag for shoes. It is well made, durable, and also includes a strap on the back of the bag to attach to luggage. My only complaint is how heavy the bag can get. I won’t add as much stuff in the bag the next time I use. But otherwise, I definitely recommend this bag to others.

  • my carryon expands and still fits in an overhead bin! love it so much! it's so cute

  • These bags are so stylish and functional. Bought one as a baby shower gift for my best friend and she uses it all the time. Great pattern, versatile uses, fits everything mom and baby could need. She loves it and uses it as her main diaper bag.

  • I have the checked baggage and the travel hanging case from Bies - I’m in love with both. For some context, in an incident my Bies bag fell down a flight of stairs- the bag was perfectly fine and all of my belonging (including fragile perfume bottles/skincare) were fine. I’m eventually going to buy everything on their website!

  • I got the weekender bag and it is very nice but just a little too big for me personally. The return process is an absolute joke. You lose money when you try and return. They don’t refund the shipping and charge a $10 handling fee. Paid $113 total. And my options were $98 store credit or $88 back to my payment method. Not wanting to lose more money, I chose store credit and got the mini but still paid another $21 with taxes and shipping. I lost $32 to get a smaller bag with their ridiculous policy. The bag are great quality and super sleek but the service is just a joke

  • I love the beis foldable garment bag for travel. Affordable and stylish. Definitely want to try their other travel bags and accessories

  • Horrible customer service! Money is all they care about. Amazon has similar products and excellent customer service. Don’t waste your money on this company.

  • I just used my new mini weekender bag with shoe compartment for a weeklong work trip and I am in love with it. I took advantage of all the space and was skeptical it would fit under the seat, it was snug but it fit! All the compartments make organizing and finding what you need easy even the first time. The trolley pass through is great or my arm would've fallen off. I love the cream but went with the gray because I was worried I'd get the cream dirty quickly.

  • I purchsed a pink carry-on and weekender from Beis. I took one 4 day trip with them, 2 flights, one hotel stay, not much use at all. They pieces both came back EXTREMELY DIRTY. I have never had troublewith luggage getting dirty, sometimes it would getting banged up some over the years, but never dirty. I contacted Beils, their response was that it was not delivered to me dirty so they are not responsible and will not even change the pieces for darker colors so I could try those. When I asked to speak with someone they would not have anyone get on the phone. Do not be deceived into buying these pretty bags...they do not withstand even one trip without looking awful. To add insult to injury the company is not interested in communicating with its' customers. Buy luggage from a company that stands behinds its products, that builds products to last. That is not Beis.

  • Beis is just cheap crap with very fun marketing. I purchased the “Dopp kit” and two hardshell roller bags. The Dopp kit shows that you can nearly pack everything in the top compartment but what it doesn’t show is that all of it collapses in on itself when you zip it. I had a ton of makeup and skincare open and get destroyed when I arrived to a work trip. The bag leaked on my clothes, shoes, my Dyson hair dryer everything. I literally cried when I opened it to the mess. The hardshell suitcases I have only used twice and the handles wobble and the wheels are wonky and messed up. It’s just poorly made and cheap.

  • Received the wrong bag for Christmas so I filled out the gift exchange form on January 2nd and received a confirmation that they received the request. Hadn’t heard back from them, so I messaged them on January 15th to follow up, they told me to put in a new request with new info, when I did so it said my exchange/return window has closed on January 13. After reaching out to them expecting them to respect the January 2nd date, they proceeded to say that they can’t do anything about the situation even though this whole situation is their fault for not responding. They refuse to help and find a solution. Terrible terrible terrible customer service !!!!! So disappointed and disgusted with this whole experience, save yourself and do not buy from this site!!!!

  • I bought the convertible weekends and used it once, no marks, scuffs or anything because I didn't even get to use it a full trip because the bottom part doesn't like to stay together and I kept finding myself hunched overy bags trying to get it connected again. I reached out to cs and got instructions to process a return or exchanging but the site takes you circles. Then customer service makes you jump hoops and send you emails making you do the same thing multiple times, weeks later the result is that they won't horo because I did not have tags, which I threw away cause I don't return things unless they don't work. I asked for an exchange of the non convertible one and the process starts over. They make me jump through the same hoops, do the same things and send the same pictures again, just to send me another automated email saying they can't process a return. It's maddening. They do not care how they already have my money. They lost a great customer, I will throw this bag way rather than ever use or buy anything from this company again.

They could have listened to my complaint instead of making me jump through hoops on their website with the shitty the ux. They could have honored the fact that their products doesn't work as it should and try to rectify the issue.

  • I got the Convertible Mini Weekender Bag in beige as a birthday gift. It came really well packaged and the bag is well made and feels sturdy. Definitely made to last. The strap and gold buckles are nice details and I get compliments every time I carry it around. It also has a ton of compartments and pockets that has helped me keep everything super organized. The bottom compartment is a great bonus too. I usually use it to keep an extra pair of shoes there or put my dirty laundry to keep it separate from everything else.

    Feedback

The only thing I'd say is it's a bit too tall to fit under the seat on the airplane, even if the bottom compartment is off. Another nitpicky thing would be nice to have two pull tabs for the zipper on either side for the bottom compartment.
