Babyation was created to support women through all the roles they juggle -- including being a mom. With game-changing products and judgment-free conversations to build a community, Babyation strives to support, elevate, and unite women through this common life experience. Babyation isn’t solely a breast pump company; their priority is the woman using it. Everything from product development to engagement adheres to this philosophy. Babyation’s mission is to enhance a woman’s motherhood journey with “tools” to improve the parenting experience. It’s not just pumping on your terms, it’s about mothering on your terms.
Babyation was founded by Samantha Rudolph and Jared Miller, a wife-and-husband team based in St. Louis. After reading a 2014 New York Times article about the shortcomings of the breast pump, Samantha and Jared saw an opportunity to in the market for a quiet, discreet and smart product that creates new and better experiences for parents.
Babyation believes a woman should be able to pump on her own terms, whenever and wherever she wants – without the world around her knowing. With that in mind, discretion is a key feature of Babyation’s FDA-cleared The Pump. Babyation offers the world’s smallest and lightest breast shields to minimize what goes on a woman’s body. Those breast shields are soft and comfortable and engineered to more closely resemble a baby’s mouth. The product is so quiet so as to not give away what a mom is doing – if she is lying in bed, sitting in her office, leading a conference call or walking down the street. For the first time ever, a woman no longer has to revolve her life around her pump. Instead, her pump can seamlessly integrate into her life.
