Athletic Greens earns mixed reviews: many users report increased energy, improved regularity, and an easy morning routine, while others see little to no measurable benefit. • I was hesitant about trying this product but after a friend recommended it to me, I had to buy it. It has definitely given me an energy boost throughout the day and has improved my mood. The price point is high but I think it’s worth it in trying to make up whatever vitamins and minerals I don’t receive through the day

  • Pretty great overall. Wish I could pick my flavors in a smaller quantity.

  • AG1 is a solid product. Flavor is good, it's a good "insurance policy" help supplement a balanced diet. Only drawback is that the powder is a little bit gritty (not overtly), and ovbiously it's a premium product so it's more expensive. Branding, delivery speed, and brand communications are all really solid.

It's a great product, I'd recommend. There may be better versions of this out there but it's a solid option.

  • I really wanted to like this product due to its nutrient value and product testing, but couldn't get past the taste. It almost had a bubble gum-like taste and odd after taste.

    Feedback

If there were different flavor options such as mint or ginger, I would love to try it again!

  • Love the benefits of taking this since I don’t eat alot of vegetables. The taste is the only reason it’s not a 5 star.

    Taste. Grainy

  • Unable to comment on the benefits of this. The taste was a bit unbearable for me to consume this long term.

    Taste.

  • Love the experience and taste. Not sure how well it works but i like the routine.

  • I didn’t really see the benefits that they claimed and it’s quite expensive

    Taste and price

  • Product is meh on taste, but superb on packaging and convenience. Very expensive habit though! Roughly $100 per month. I definitely felt more energy when taking it. I think they have green tea extract and other adaptogens.

    Taste, pricing

  • I had heard about athletic greens for quite some time and had always wanted to try it. I have incorporated Athletic Greens into my morning routine. It makes me feel good knowing that I had 75 vitamins, minerals, and nutrients, before I even fully opened my eyes in the morning. However, the taste is not great (but what can you expect for 75 vitamins?). It tasted of a strange childhood nostalgia. I still drink it everyday and will continue to do so.

    Feedback

The taste could be improved. Because it is unlikely to improve taste due to the high quality ingredients....consider recommending a smaller glass of water or different portion size so that the nutrients could be taken "like a shot"

  • Still trying to get over the taste but it seems to be getting a little better with time? I love the idea of having all my vitamins in one drink. Makes it a lot easier to remember to take them! Still haven’t noticed much of a difference in energy/skin/GI etc. I am only three weeks into it, so we will see!

It’s very expensive and I don’t love the texture. The shaker bottle should come with something that helps mix it all a little better. Like those coily mixer balls that come with protein shakes.

  • I loved the promise and the high bar set for expectations. The packaging and user experience interface from start to finish was a delight.

    Feedback

I don't have a sweet tooth and the formula is quite sweet to me. I had a hard time making myself look forward to drinking a sweet drink first thing in the morning (as recommended) or generally throughout the day. The packaging makes me believe it's made in New Zealand. Even if the company is providing climate offset, this felt wasteful and unnecessary to me as a consumer in NYC. I would rather source a vitamin I enjoyed more locally and the climate offset could be smaller.

  • Talking about branding there is not much to say, I think we are all obsessed. We did not know that green could be used so well. As a triathlete, I like to be always peeking for alternative vitamins and foods that help me have more energy and recover better, but for me, it was impossible to take AG, I didn't like the taste at all.

    Feedback

    A more tolerable taste.

  • I am a sucker for good packaging and New Zealand origin, I usually prefer to take my vitamins by pill but I thought this could be a good recovery drink post workout. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and felt restored after!

    Feedback

The taste was good, not great! I am ok with this as I was drinking for health benefits!

  • I was heavily marketed this product and liked the idea of supplementing day to day with a vitamin packed dose. Now that it has arrived, I take it daily and presume it is doing good things but can't say I notice a difference in energy levels etc. I also did not love the taste. I like the idea of a "nutrition insurance plan" and will continue to take but not sure I will repurchase.

  • So many of these supplement brands feel like placebo to me. Athletic Greens does not. Not only do I feel great after slurping this down every morning, but it also tastes pretty damn good, too. Surprisingly good, in fact.

It's definitely on the expensive side of things.

  • I start my day, every day, with AG. Since I started 5 months ago, I feel a noticeable energy and alertness. They suggest you drink this first thing, on an empty stomach, which I do. My morning routine is: AG, toast, maybe fruit, and coffee or tea. I feel satiated until lunch. Given the vitamin punch, this product's key offering is nutrients and not taste. Admittedly, I have to chug it. And mixing with cold water is KEY. In my opinion, they optimized for nutrients and I don't mind that the taste is not the focus of the product. Alternatively, other options like Kachava for example are loaded (!) with sugar - but sure, more drinkable. Despite the taste, I highly recommend it.
