Athletic Greens is a nutrient-packed supplement that many users claim improves their overall health and energy levels. It has a generally pleasant taste, often described as citrusy or sweet, but some users find the sweetness too strong, possibly due to the added stevia. I love the taste! It’s the first brand of greens I’ve used I can handle drinking. 
It is pricey for sure. But I love how I feel. I have almost eliminated coffee. I feel great and it has done wonders for my guy health. Overall I feel much better. 

I have been drinking athletic greens for 4 years now off and on. In the early days I saw a major difference in my energy and was dedicated to drinking it every morning. Over time, it was hard to upkeep. I still drink it on days where I feel like I won’t eat well.

The taste is too sweet for me. I don’t like the addition of stevia and wish it was just “green” or tea flavored. However with enough ice, it sort of cuts through it 

My brother put me onto AG over a year ago, and I was super skeptical. And then I ended up loving it!!! It's become a staple in my routine and just makes me feel more energized and balanced. And then I ended up working at AG! But I promise, as a long-time fan, it's actually good stuff. 

I started using Athletic Greens as part of the green juice trend last year. It tastes really good, especially compared to other powders, but I didn't really see any benefits of adding the green juice to my diet. 

As someone who doesn't eat many fruits and vegetables, AG is a great way to get the nutrients I'm often skipping out on. That being said, if you already have a green diet, this product is not necessary and probably not worth the money. 

Delicious, easy to use, and great customer experience. After the holidays, my regular subscription order was delayed, and to make up for it, they sent me a free month. 

Flavor was good, but they’re too expensive and I don’t typically trust nutrition labels when they have “proprietary blend”. I like to know exactly what I’m ingesting. 

The only thing I don't love is the taste... it's not bad but it definitley is an aquired taste. It almost tastes like an unflavored protein powder. If it had a Gatorade type flavor like 8Greens I think i'd like it more & be sold for life!

I finally gave in and got AG1. I adore the brand's marketing, love the ingredients because it has everything you need for a day, and it genuinely works in that it makes me feel healthier, gives me more energy throughout the day, and betters overall wellness.

I love it - drink it every day. I feel better and have recommended to many. When I went to get my annual physical, my doctor asked "what are you doing differently?" - my checkup was so much better than previous visits. This is the only thing that changed. When I went to check out, the staff asked me the same thing, and started googling AG1. I tore the meniscus in my right knee 11 years ago - and even with surgery I always felt pain or tightness in that knee. Just a few months ago I found myself wondering "what knee was the one that was hurt?" - it had finally improved. It seems to me taking AG1, the only think I've really changed, has has a part in all of this. For years I took a handful of vitamins every day and they really did nothing to help. I've replaced them with AG1 and am happy for it.

I have been trying this for a few weeks now and I very much like the taste! It has many minerals and vitamins inside which you would think it might taste greeny but it actually isn't! The first thing you smell is the pineapple, citricy taste and when you drink it, it is actually very enjoyable. The taste itself is very simple and light. I do see a bit of the particles settling down easily and once I finish it there are some things on the bottom of the glass. But other than that, I enjoy drinking this for my everyday health!

I've forced myself to like many things meant to be good for me.... but I just could not push past the flavor to drink this long enough to get a real idea of any potential benefits. Like drinking a dirt flavored Flintstone vitamin. 

It could very well be a great product otherwise, sadly I will never know.

I hate admitting it... but I really like AG. It's a great way to start the day prior to coffee. I feel a lot better after using it for just two weeks. I noticed major improvements in my skin and dark circles under my eyes. (Makes me think I've generally been lacking some vitamins.)

It might be placebo, but I generally feel better.

The only issue that I have had is that it never mixes completely with the water and kind of leaves more powder at the bottom of the bottle.

AG has great supplements!! It makes it super easy to get in extra veggie servings in your day. 

The powder doesn't dissolve well, you're basically drinking water with clumps of green gunk, especially at the bottom. It tastes weirdly sickly sweet, not like how you'd expect a green juice to taste at all. It helps if you put a bit of lemon juice in!

Disclaimer I didn't try the whole subscription, just a few days so definitely not enough to actually see a lasting change in health - however I didn't feel any different and honestly it kind of bothered my stomach if I drank it on an empty stomach. 

The taste needs to be improved and the price point is ridiculous for just 10g of greens powder. Also, get rid of the plastic bottle.

After seeing this blasted all over social media I decided to finally give it a try. I had a hard time paying $100 for a greens powder but I wanted to see for myself what all the hype was about.

Unfortunately, the product itself is pretty underwhelming. I purchased the starter kit which came in pretty packaging with a plastic bottle (-1 point), greens powder, and metallic tin.

The powder itself tastes like bubblegum and I didn't feel any difference after using it for 30 consecutive days.

I was looking for a complete nutritional solution to improve energy and curb hunger but this didn't do it for me. It doesn't contain protein or healthy fats that other "complete" solutions offer.  I've since switched to another brand (LyfeFuel) which has a lot of the same nutrients but also contains protein and other superfoods for a more complete nutritional solution.

The only feedback is the cost of the product. I understand that based on the ingredients, the cost is justified, however, there are other green's companies that charge less and have similar benefits. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

I was sent travel sized samples and there is a lot of powder product in just one of the packets. I love the flavor and consistency, but it did feel like there was a lot of powder. Maybe I just didn't add enough water.

This did help my digestive system and again, tastes the BEST out of any other greens powder I have tried in the past - which is a lot.


The powder is the biggest flaw - I've tried other brands where there's a concentrated liquid and those seem sooooo much more successful both in taste and solubility. The plastic water bottle with stainless steel / heavy lid is also really strange from a product perspective – it also makes the bottle topple more easily when empty. 

It's tough to like this product since the taste isn't for me, coming from someone who enjoys the taste of a green juice or smoothie – it's oddly sweet and feels a bit pasty like protein powder. I appreciate the brand's mission to create an accessible option for vitamins + supplements to promote better gut health, but these are of course things that people can get through a well rounded diet. The suggested use is 8-10oz with one scoop but I've been using 16oz+ just to get the mixture to be more palatable and less grainy, though it still becomes grainy at the end no matter how many times i shake or mix while drinking – this makes it tough to drink as an everyday beverage, which the brand is trying to promote. Unfortunately it's a miss for me and I'll be canceling my subscription. 

My day has not begun until I have my Athletic Greens! I'm notoriously awful for remembering to take my daily supplements, so love having an option to drink many of them instead. This is pretty tasty, but I do think it's best enjoyed very cold and with a straw. Sometimes I top it off with a little orange juice, too! Why not get a bit fancy with it??  Love the mini packs for traveling, but otherwise I keep the whole pack in the fridge and have first thing each morning. I've been drinking Athletic Greens for about 4 months now, and definitely notice when I skip a day -- something just feels a bit off. I have found that I even drink less coffee in the morning -- I wasn't trying to cut back on caffeine, I just seemed to be reaching for it less frequently. It's a bit pricey so if you don't love it, I wouldn't force yourself to stick with it. If you do enjoy it, go the subscription route - and get the kit with their green canister and water bottle.

Tastes like a mild matcha which I like. Cannot really tell if it is doing anything for my body. the package and container they give you feel very premium. Is extremely expensive and I think ghost greens is far better value for the money 

I've used this product for a few months and while I do actually really enjoy it, I don't think it's worth the price. Especially with shipping costs. I don't know if they need to cut their influencer pool in half or what, but the price is the biggest issue.

Flavor-wise, it takes a bit of getting used to but I've come to appreciate it. I do notice a boost of energy from it, and I find that I feel better while taking it--but I could also increase the nutrient density of my meals and notice the same benefits. Overall it's good, but I can't justify the cost.

However, if it's not prohibitively expensive for you and you don't get enough nutrients in your diet--go for it.

Tried it for month and didn't see an immediate change. The taste is ok but it feels very sandy down the throat. That's the only reason why I stop taking it.
