Alec's Ice Cream reviews and discussion

I had the chance to try 3 different Alec's Ice Cream flavors. My favorite was Tahitian Vanilla. It would seem like a vanilla flavor ice cream would be a standard vanilla but this was really flavorful. I can't really explain it. My second favorite was Honey Blueberry Lavender. I loved all of the flavors combined but the lavender is a little too forward. Finally, the Nutty Butter Brittle was pretty good but it wasn't my favorite. It tastes similar to butter pecan ice cream and I don't really enjoy that flavor. My mom loved it, though. Overall, Alec's Ice Cream is a high quality ice cream that can be enjoyed on special occasions. I would love to try the other flavors!

First tried Salted dark Chocolate and Mint Chocolate Chip and like very much, but most recently have been blown away by Matcha Chocolate Chip. This is incredibly smooth and definitely in my top 5 ice creams of all time.

At over $9 at my local grocery store, Alec's ice cream comes in at a pretty high price point. After hearing so much buzz about it, I finally decided to cave and buy a few pints—and boy am I glad I did. Unlike other premium brands I've tried—Jeni's, Van Leeuwen, etc.—Alec's is consistently good. I tried the salted dark chocolate, Tahitian vanilla, and mint chocolate chip and loved all of them; they're smooth, creamy, and taste a lot less artificial than other ice cream I've tried. I also love the illustrations on the packaging and the fact that the brand strikes a good balance between more unique, "out there" flavors and the good ol' classics. I'd love to try more, especially the coffee & toffee, nutty butter brittle, maple cardamom candied pecan, and honey blueberry lavender.

all of the ice creams in the freezer were old and had a lot of freezer burn frost all over so much that they were stuck together but they do taste good still

You guys ... this is the real deal. I don't even like ice cream that much (crazy I know), but I am obsessed with Alec's Ice Cream! I try to keep my dairy intake to a minimum as I have chronic health conditions like Hashimotos, but when I do have dairy, I try to opt for organic when I can and look for clean, healthy ingredients. Alec's ice cream is more than just cute packaging. The ice cream ACTUALLY tastes REALLY GOOD! It's creamy, delicious, and the flavors are so innovative and fun! My favorite flavors are Strawberry Crumble, Lemon Cookie, Matcha Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla. I also love that the flavors are all gluten-free, since I cannot have gluten. My boyfriend go through the cartons super fast, we are both obsessed!!! I can't wait to see what flavors come out next.

Super delicious. Elevated flavors that blend nicely with delicious creamy ice cream. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

The sweetness level, texture and creaminess is perfect. I tried the the strawberry crumble and banana chocolate date shake flavor of Alec's ice cream. Hands down the chocolate date shake flavor is my new favorite.

I love the taste of Alec's coffee toffee ice cream. The toffee crumbles tastes like crumbles made by my mother. The coffee tastes like Guatemalan coffee. The ice cream exhibits great vigor and vitality. I have consumed ice cream from hundreds of different brands. I would recommend Alec's ice cream beyond other ice cream brands. The ice cream contains regeneratively grown dairy. The dairy has A2 dairy is conducive to people who do not appreciate ice cream. Why would someone purchase Alec's ice cream? I will purchase Alec's ice cream because Alec's ice cream remains pertinent to my lifestyle. All of my peers on instagram rave about alec's ice cream. As a result, I enjoy Alec's ice cream. Alec's ice cream has a cardboard box and top. The cardboard box and top are 30 percent post consumer fibers. I appreciate Alec's commitment to the environment. I will purchase Alec's ice cream for my spouse and mistress.

Alec's Ice Cream is the best ice cream ever! It's so good that I've bought almost every single flavor. I started with the Honey Blueberry Lavender. It has a fragrant scent of lavender, with just a hint of honey, real blueberries and the creamiest natural smooth texture with no artificial ingredients, you've had in your life. I ate mine slowly so that I could savor all the flavors in Alec's ingredients. Last week, I tried the Meyer Lemon Cookie ice cream. I thought I was eating a cream lemon pie. Small cookie chunks to add texture interest, lemon, just to give it a tweak of sour. Drop that into Alec's creamy natural smooth ice cream with no artificial ingredients and you've got a winner!

I like the flavours and the creaminess. But the price is little bit too high. Flavour options are unique.

Delicious and no tummy issues! Interesting flavors too. Highly recommend for any lactose intolerant folks out there.

This was really good, very decadent and rich. It’s not a light ice cream, a little does the trick. Its got a great texture and taste.

Really excellent, with thoughtful flavors and good consistency. Particularly enjoyed the banana date chocolate variety, which reminded me of my time in Southern California.

Super smooth. One of the best vanillas on the market.

I bought two flavors, the tahitian vanilla bean and maple cardamom candied peacan. I already tried the vanilla ice cream and it was delicious. It was not hard to scoop out of the carton and was the perfect level of sweetness.

Smooth and creamy. Mint chocolate chip was amazing.

I’ve had the honey blueberry lavender and the Tahitian vanilla bean and they are both beyond amazing. Great flavor with a nice creamy consistency.
