I’ve been looking for a classic pair of black flats for a while. After a disappointing trip to the mall to try on multiple luxury options, I decided to buy the Aeyde Ellie flats on a whim. These shoes are it. The leather is supple and soft. The almond toe gives the perfect toe cleavage and these were comfortable immediately. This was my first Aeyde purchase and I’m excited to try other styles soon.

I have a pair of minimalistic suede flats by them, and talking about the quality of craft and design they are perfect. They offer half-sizes for a wide range of models so it's easy to find a decent fit. The good news is that they run a sale sometimes. What could be better — a little bit bigger sole for flats probably would make them more comfortable for street wear.

They have cute shoes, but I can't find anything on their sustainability. I wish they were more transparent on their site. There are a ton of mid-luxe sustainable shoe brands that give info on their production cycle and product use
