Tips to reach 1000 points

Batch your reviews: We know the best reviews often come when you're in the zone. Create a comfortable moment in front of your computer (think cozy pants, a warm drink, and your favorite spot) and sit down for a Reviewathon session! Instead of writing one review at a time on the go, take a couple of hours to knock out several. We’ve found that people who do this tend to write the most helpful, detailed reviews.

Focus on quality: A well-written, thoughtful review not only earns more points but also contributes to our community’s mission of empowering consumers with honest feedback. Remember, every review helps others make smarter decisions! The more helpful your review, the more points you’ll rack up! Share what you loved, what could be improved, and who you’d recommend the product to.

Reviewathon Contest Rules

Eligibility:

The Reviewathon is open to all individuals with a registered Thingtesting profile. Contestants must earn a minimum of 1000 points on their Thingtesting profile between March 25, 2025, and March 31, 2025, to be eligible for the raffle. Participants must comply with Thingtesting’s Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines.

How to Enter:

To enter the contest, simply review products you’ve received or tested and earn points. Each thoughtful and honest review contributes to your score. Once you reach 1000 points on your Thingtesting profile by March 31, 2025, you will be automatically entered into the raffle to win one of five testing bundles from 11 up-and-coming brands.

Prizes:

Five (5) winners will each receive a product sampling bundle from 11 up-and-coming brands. Additionally, Level 5 achievers will receive an online shopping toolkit.

Deadline:

The deadline for earning 1000 points is March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM (PST). Entries received after this time will not be considered.

Winner Selection:

Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries. Each winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the contest’s conclusion. If a winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, an alternate winner will be selected.

General Conditions:

Thingtesting reserves the right to disqualify any entries that violate the terms, are fraudulent, or are submitted by individuals who do not comply with the contest rules. All reviews must be genuine and comply with Thingtesting’s Community Guidelines. Fake reviews or spam will not be tolerated and will result in disqualification.

Limitations of Liability:

Thingtesting is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, failures, or delays that may occur during the entry process. By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Thingtesting, its affiliates, and partners from any liability arising from participation in the contest or the use of any prize.

Privacy Notice:

Personal information collected in connection with the contest will only be used for the purpose of administering the contest and notifying the winner. It will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Right to Modify or Cancel:

Thingtesting reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the contest in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
