Would you recommend this brand to a friend?
Yes - it’s made a huge difference in how my hair and skin feels post shower. I’d recommend it for anyone in an older home with questionably rusty pipes or who lives in the area with contaminated water.
When did you purchase this product?
February 2022
Is this product similar to anything you’d bought before?
Nope, I had never purchased a filtered shower head prior to Jolie, but a quick Google search confirms my belief that you won’t find one more aesthetically pleasing.
ABOUT THE BUYER
What was your reason for purchasing the product?
I’ve always been concerned with water contamination and the health concerns that can stem from it and have been picky about the water I drink for years. Then, a few years ago, while staying with a friend who had water filtration through their entire house, I noticed a big difference in the feeling of my skin and hair post-shower.
Everything seemed more moisturized, and I was able to cut down on my topical moisture usage. From that moment, I had been on the hunt for a filter that could work in our shower without converting our entire home.

EXPERIENCE
Share your experience with Jolie?
I loved it! The unboxing experience was great, and install was a breeze. I appreciate that the box includes all the tools and supplies you need to switch out your old showerhead. Bonus points that the “Tiny but Mighty” wrench and “The Cutest Tape in the World” plumbers tape you excited to install the showerhead. Great branding at its finest.
The shower pressure when I first received it was below expectations which I wrote about in my original Thingtesting review. A few days later, the founder of the company reached out to me to instruct how to remove the flow regulator that’s required by state law. Once I was able to do that, the pressure has been great! Whenever my husband and I go on vacation, one of the things we most look forward to coming home to is our Jolie showerhead. (Second to our pup, Macaroni.) It’s amazing the difference in shower water we notice when traveling now!
There’s a little bit of yellow residue on the showerhead after a few weeks of use that I’m sure is from the KDF-55 filter, so don’t be surprised if you see that. I cleaned it with a wet cloth and it came right off.
Would you buy it again given what you know now?
Absolutely.
How did the experience match your expectations?
Yes, the water pressure is great and you can immediately feel the difference. You can even taste the difference.

Worth the Money
Let’s be real, it’s a bit expensive for a showerhead. But if you have a design forward home or are planning a remodel, it’s worth it to not have an ugly filtered shower head. Plus, it’s so worth taking care of your skin and hair.
Eco-Friendly Packaging & Fun Unboxing
There’s no plastic or unnecessary waste in the packaging which I appreciate but can sometimes lead to boring unboxings. That wasn’t the case in this instance. Jolie made for a great unboxing experience while not wasting materials and resources. I loved the scented mini shower head tile that arrived in the box.
Lovely Customer Support
I recently moved and (of course) forgot to update my shipping address. Once I realized, I emailed customer support and they got back to me within the day and corrected the issue!
FEEDBACK
What would you change or what could use improvement?
It would be nice to see data on how long the filtered showerhead is good for based on the amount of people using it. I know it ships every three months but how was that frequency decided? Was it based on a single-person household taking a 10-minute shower every day? What if a family of four is using the same showerhead, does the filter need to be replaced more regularly?
