Meet Marty Bell

Each week, we check in with a different member of Thingtesting's community to ask what brands they've spotted, what they're testing, and take a peek into their recent reviews.

This week's feature is Marty Bell, he's the founder behind Poolsuite, and a cofounder of both Vacation and Tens. Read on to discover the brands he's recently spotted and everything else in his current rotation.

COMMUNITY FEATURE

Hi Marty, please introduce yourself.

I’m a Scottish entrepreneur who can’t seem to stop starting things, I travel a lot and I’m very passionate about living an exciting and eccentric life. I’ve created things like Poolsuite, Vacation, Nude and Tens, but feel like I’m just getting started.

What is your dream vacation?

My dream vacation is hanging out with close friends at a private house and around the pool drinking lambrusco, with someone spinning some ‘80s disco jams on the decks, probably in Barcelona.

What are some brands you’ve recently spotted?

The Mighty Company. An ultra-fun and very shiny womenswear company, inspired by the ‘90s on the West Coast. We’re dreaming of throwing a party together sometime soon!

Copson London. A streetwear brand inspired by a mix of mediterranean and skateboarding lifestyles by one of the coolest people I know, Maria Falbo.

Shoreditch Ski Club. Sustainably-produced outerwear brand, by Wil Beedle, who was previously the Creative Director of All Saints.

éliou. Made-to-order colorful hand-crafted jewelry, made in Miami.

Paltinieri. A family-owned artisanal lambrusco company (sparkling red wine) made in the Sorbara wine region of Italy.

What's a brand you've recently tested?

What else is in your current rotation?

I’m spending most of my time right now building out an eccentric web3 membership club (the Poolsuite Executive Members Club), so those NFT passes are definitely high on my rotation list!

I think FWB & Are.na are some of the best things on the internet right now, and I spend a lot of time hanging out in those places.
